TL;DR It's a durable, spacious, convenient mid sized tool tote and great for the price. No complaints. I work in new construction as a plumber. I was tired of digging through my Husky tool backpack setup. I would have to unzip, dig through the bottom just to find my tape measure or bits or what have you. I looked around quite a bit for an open-faced style tray like this, but couldn't find anything suitable. My other challenge was getting it to fit inside my locking storage bin on the work truck so I could leave my things locked up at night instead of having to lug my tools home every night. This tote is durable, spacious and seems to be high quality. The bottom tote portion fits all my hand tools (quite a bit like hammer, levels, two tapes, 3 crimp tools, a battery charger, square and room for a good bit more). The top case portion holds my impact with a battery on it, a 5 amp battery, a Dewalt bit set case, and a single bay battery charger perfectly. The fact that it snaps to the top and disconnects with one hand makes it super convenient and a breeze to use. The handle is a little on the large side, but is very sturdy and sort of slides into a locked position while carrying it so you don't have to work about the tote spilling or tipping. If you're on the fence about this thing, I say just give it a try. I love it. Especially if you're in a trade where you have many tools to bring in and out of a job site everyday. So convenient and nice. Another plus is all my tools are Dewalt so it matches 😎.

I really like this tool box, fits a good amount of tools in between the removable top section and the bottom. Its also really easy to separate the two. I can't really make a comment towards the durability since I mainly use it to store my household tools, I'm not taking it to a jobsite.

Needed to store a bunch of tools we have laying around the house. It can store a good number of tools as long as it's not too bulky. The bottom compartment can store about 2 cordless drills or impact drivers. The toolbox itself is made out of plastic but seems to be sturdy enough to withstand a good amount of weight.

I love this thing, it's big and sturdy and not expensive. You should know though that it in no way nests with the T-STAK system, and it's got a big old yellow handle for the smaller compartment that sticks out. Not a square profile with that jutting out. HOWEVER: unlike one review I read, the compartments separate easily with the push of a button - I think the guy who was having problems was trying to pull it. Overall this is a sweet chunky toolbox.

I bought this Dewalt toolbox in 2020, nearly 4 years ago. Primarely, I use it to keep my house tolls organized. These are my insights: 1. WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT? - As a mentioned in the title, this tool box is built as a tank. High quality plastic, which has a flex to it, is extremely hard to damage. The hinges and the carring handle are extremely strong. The amount of tools I have weigh over 30 lb. 2. HOW DOES THIS PRODUCT PERFORM? - There are two parts to this toolbox. The top smaller part, which is detachable by pressing a side button, I use for small, easy to find tools. Inside the top part, there is a compartment that you can close, where you can keep tiny tools or parts, that you don't want to mix with the other tools. Also in that top part, there are 3 dividers. The bottom part, which is deep, I use for larger heavier tools. Photos are attached. 3. IS THE PRODUCT EASY TO USE? - Extremely easy to use and to open up. Once you place the top part on the bottom one, it locks itself. And the aluminum handle makes it extremely easy to carry around, or to put in your truck. 4. IS THE PRODUCT A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY? - The best, because it can really last you a lifetime. 5. WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO YOU? - Absolutely. There are not a lot of things I need to think about a toolbox - it needs to serve a purpose, to be rugged, and it needs to withstand a serious beating. This one does it all.
