GOOD box!
I have reviewed and bought these before so I guess it says something that I am here, again, buying and reviewing another one. there isn't a lot to say about this... it looks like the picture (mine was light green though... I now have one in purple, blue and green) The box is easy to use and clean and the ferrets love it more than any of the other boxes I have tried. Definitely would buy again (obviously) Only peeve is the locking mechanism because it's not super sturdy where it fits into the box. One has broken but had heavy use and abuse. Ferrets like digging around and under things so it wiggled around a lot and finally just gave out. Also bugs me that it won't lay down totally flat which helps getting it in and out of the cage for deep cleaning but not a big deal. Just that if those two issues were fixed, it's be a solid 5 stars. Even broken I still have been using the one with no latch because I can still hook things through the remaining hole to attack it to the cage.

BEST ONE YET!
The only reason I give it 3 stars on the lock feature is because you have to make sure your cage has bars big enough to hook it on. My rabbit ends up moving it around, but because it’s so big, he doesn’t spill it or knock it over when he does! It’s ridiculously easy to clean! My rabbit likes having room to do his business! The downside is that it’s so big, we had to put hinges on his cage so I could take it out to really clean it. I don’t mind that, though! I’ve been through A LOT of litter boxes with Sweets, and this is the only one he hasn’t tried to destroy yet, so it gets my vote all the way!

good size and easy lock on
I got this due to the type of cage I have. The standard corner litter pan that my local pet store sells is really to small for my fuzzy babies and does not hook to the side of the cage causing dump overs and a big mess. This fits nicely in my Ferret nation model 182 cage, locks to the side of the cage with a couple of turns, and is big enough for my fuzzy babies to get all the way in to go potty. If you have fuzzy babies this is a good buy.Update 4/10/14: My fuzzy babies have figured out how to get it unhooked by pushing themselves between the litter pan and the cage making the locking mechanism detach from the litter pan. They have also decided that it makes a good bed and stopped using it as a litter pan, but still use their large pan that I had constructed myself out of a large plastic storage container. The whole thing with ferrets liking corner to go potty in is not true for all ferrets. I have had 5 fuzzy babies and two of them will go potty right in the middle of an open area.

Almost perfect
This pan was the perfect idea for my guineas. So I bought two. I got two different colors which surprised me: a reddish color and a greenish color. Which turned out for the best since I put one color in the girls' cage and a different color in the boys' cage. It worked really well for everyone except for my own dumb fault. I used too much force when I was adjusting the boy's pan and broke the plastic peg piece off of the pan itself so that the bolt doesn't stay in the boys' pan. I don't really think it was a manufacturing flaw or anything, it was just me doing something klutzy at the wrong angle. But it still worked great as a pan for the boys' cage since you can completely remove the bolt and it sits flush to the cage until the boys move it around of course. The girls' pan is still strong after quite some time of wear and tear so I might just get another one for the boys.

Good for my ferrets
Only thing I don't like is that the company didn't think on the label placement. It needs to be on the outside or better yet, bottom exterior of the box!

Solid
These appear solid and seem like a good deal for $11. Easy to attach and clean. I ordered a few to donate to a local animal adoption shelter and they came in 3 different colors, so don't expect to receive the color you see in the pictures necessarily. Colors included were blue, burgundy and grey.Note: Be sure to check your order right away. One of mine was missing the lock, obviously the most important part. I was simply sent a whole new pan instead of just the lock.

Sticker is nearly impossible to remove
This would be a 5 star review if not for the huge sticker on the inside of the litter pan that is attached with what must be industrial strength (and probably toxic to pets) glue. Why wouldn’t you just use normal glue??? And why is it on the INSIDE?? This litter plan is the perfect size for my rabbits - I ended up ordering 2 for that reason, but the sticky glue residue is STILL there after nearly an hour of applying glue remover, letting it sit, and vigorously scrubbing. If you want to spend hours upon hours scrubbing with no result, this is the product for you! And if you are wondering why I didn’t just leave the sticker.. this is a LITTER pan.. the sticker would quickly get disgusting and make it so this litter pan would always be smelly and never clean. If you enjoy perpetually disgusting litter pans, this is also the product for you!

Best one yet!
I have purchased 3 different litter boxes for my ferret and this is the best one. I chose this because it was large and I needed something that my ferret could fit her whole body in. I have one of those triangular corner cages also but she would always get in it and turn around in circles, back up into the corner then turn around some more, then get out and do her business in the corner of the cage. So I purchased a rectangular box that was similar to this one but smaller. She did the same thing with this one that she did with the corner box. I asked my veterinarian about it and she said ferrets prefer a litter pan they can fit their whole body into. So I bought this one because it was the biggest one I could find. I put it in her cage and the first time she got in it she circled around a few times and sniffed a little bit, then backed up in the corner and did her business IN THE BOX! I was so happy. She uses the box all the time now, and only the box. No more messy cage! And I also love that the box has a screw and nut fixture that attaches it to the cage instead of a metal clip. It stays in place and is easy to remove when it is time to clean it! I would recommend this litter pan to anyone who has a little critter!
