Digitally re-mastered and expanded edition of this 1976 album from the legendary Disco outfit. The follow up, 'I Like to Do It', also fared well in the US winning itself a top 40 Pop position and climbing all the way to #3 on the US R&B charts and a top 10 Dance spot. 'I'm Your Boogie Man' would follow and in typical hit fashion soared to #1 on the US Pop charts, #3 R&B and #9 on the US dance charts while 'Keep It Comin' Love' completed the hit line-up, topping the R&B chart and making the #2 position on the Hot 100.

Perfect From Start To Finish
KC and the Sunshine Band’s brilliant third album, appropriately titled “Part 3”, was released in 1976 on TK Records label and further cemented the band as the leaders of Disco craze that was now in full effect in America. “Part 3” is a perfect album title for this release, driven by the one two three punch of 3 #1 across the board smashes “Keep It Coming Love”, “I’m Your Boogie Man” and “(Shake Shake Shake) Shake Your Booty”, the album is a marvel from start to finish and a fine example of mid 70’s exuberant combination of R&B, Funk and Dance Music. It is wrong to label KC and the Sunshine Band as just Disco since all the tracks on this album are hard hitting funky R&B grooves, not only the legendary three aforementioned smashes. “I Like To Do It” was also a Top 40 hit, as well as a Top 10 R&B and Disco Hit. “Wrap Your Arms Around Me” was yet a further Pop, R&B and Disco Hit, making this album a true blockbuster. “Baby I Love You (Yes I Do)”, “Let’s Go Party” and “Come On In” round out this killer set of grooves and they all continue in the same funky dance fashion as all the smashes on this set. KC and the Sunshine Band, it’s sound, and “Part 3” is a glowing example of everything that was right with Dance Music in the 1970’s and sound as great today, if not better, then it did 37 years ago.Heartfelt thanks go to Big Break Records for giving this gem the deluxe re-mastering treatment that it so richly deserves. This album must be owned in its original entirety, not on some compilation. As is always the case with a BBR re-master, the sound is great, the liner notes are fascinating and “Keep It Coming Love” and “I’m Your Boogie Man” are also available here in their Single Version Mixes in addition to the original full length album versions. The album’s original album cover art front and back is preserved as well. Get This Album! You will love it.

Best Sound Yet
I've always been less than trilled with the Sound of any KC and The Sunshine Band CD. They all sound flat. These BBR releases remedy that situation. The sound is full and fresh. I highly recommend the KC and the Sunshine Band BBR Releases. They are worth the extra money.

I Don't Know What Prompted Those Other 5-Star Reviews, This One is Crap!
the music is very good, but this product from Collector's Choice is junk! the sound is NOT good, it is barely passable, and the insert liner notes talk about how "boogie shoes" became the 5th single to chart from this album...that song is on an earlier K.C. album, and Saturday Night Fever, it is not, and never was on Part 3...oh, and the insert lists the band name as "K.C. and the Sunshine Bank"! avoid this garbage
