I’m in live with this brand! I started having some grays on my hair and I started using the root coloring from other brands. They work well, however my hair started looking limp because of it, so I decided to try this natural brand because eventhough is not 100% natural-no hair dye that covers grays is- it seems that does less damage to the hair follicles.I tried it and not only my roots are perfectly covered, but my hair looks healthy ever since I started using this brand. I will continue to purchase.

I use 5G and 4NI have vibrant red, burgundy or purple ends depending on the quarter❤️ I use this to color my roots to mid shaft and it works perfectly for it. If you need to cover grey like myself, add a “N” shade to it. My perfect mix is 3/4 4G and 1/4 5N (I would do 1:1 if I had more grey). This keeps that warm chestnut brown but gives better grey coverage. Hope this review helps others that don’t do one shade! Highly recommend for healthy hair and no smell (and cruelty free + bio based product).

Had a head of gray, and it colored all of it. I used this one because i had thinning hair and was told better to use a natural one... very happy with the outcome of the product. Would buy it again.

I want to preface this review with the fact that I'm a natural red-head, and many products -- especially dyes and colourants -- are not made with red-heads in mind. I wanted to mix things up and try out this hair dye because it has been recommended to me by another red-head that uses it for her greying roots. It looks beautiful on her, but she does have a slightly different shade of natural red hair, which I didn't think about before just slapping it on, so I'm not one to blame a product for my own mistakes. I admit that the colour of it while processing was scary dark and I thought I made a huge mistake. Once it was all washed out and mostly dried, it's a beautiful, warm, and chestnut-y colour.I purchased the terracotta blonde colour because I thought it would work close to my natural colour, which I have pictured in the first of the three pictures I've included in this review. My natural hair is definitely closer to the brighter orange end than to the colder, deeper red end. From the picture on the box, I thought it'd be lighter, but that's not what made me give it a 4/5 stars. Actually, I have carpal tunnel and found that if I was using the bottle of dye for longer than 3 minutes, it turned to a really thick gel that didn't want to come out of the bottle, and I had to squeeze the bottle really hard. I know the point of this hair dye is that it's gel, but a lot of it just wouldn't come out of the bottle without me having to take off the application tip and dump as much as possible into a gloved hand by shaking it quickly and aggressively. That's really my biggest complaint, that it just becomes so difficult to come out of the applicator. Maybe I'm alone on this issue because I already have wrist and joint issues, and that's okay. I just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone else has hand and grip difficulties.Other than that, I think I could get used to this colour. It had a nice smelling hair mask included with a decent amount for long, thick hair. I had to get two boxes because I have a lot of hair. I have sensitive skin, and it didn't irritate me at all. The dye itself didn't smell bad or chemically. My hair was left soft, and I think the colouration looks very natural. I dyed my eyebrows as well, and it looks like it could just be my natural hair colour. It looks warm and inviting, and it's just a shade or two darker than my natural hair. All around, a pleasant process. I think I'd also recommend this brand to others. I've tried other hair dye and colour deposits before in the past, and besides overtone, this felt very gentle and nourishing to my hair, and I found that it washed out after processing much easier than other dyes that take 45 minutes just to run clear with two boxes of dye on my hair. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a less irritating, ammonia-free box dye.

I use this product again and again. My favorite thing is there is no nasty smell. Color is good and lasts.

This color is EXACTLY!!! What I was looking for, I had previously bleached and dyed my hair.One bottle of this color was enough for my short hair, tho I did order 2 Love it!!

Brand works well for my very dry brittle hair. Reccommend you lightly shampoo hair after rinsing all the color out. Then condition.

I don't really dye my hair often but wanted to start using more natural products if I did. The process was easy, just use like any other box hair dye. I liked that I didn't feel any sort of irritation or get a headache from the chemicals. The color came out great but and I washed it per the instructions but when my hair dried, it kind of dried in clumps, the strands felt very waxy, like there was a film on it still. My hair still looked wet even though I air dried it. Now it's the second day, I double shampooed last night and used my regular conditioner and still this morning the same waxy feel and wet look. I'm hoping this will go away after the third wash, so I will update my review then.

For anyone who is hesitant and worried about dye reactions, I would 100% recommend this for a gentle dye but always do a patch test if you are unsure. I am not totally allergic but only certain dyes have made my scalp itch and sensitive in the past. This one barely made my scalp itch at all, and the dye/developer mix was a lovely smell, nothing like other strong chemical dye smells, this one smells like conditioner. The mask is amazing and really strengthens the colour. Really gentle dye and hair feels amazing afterwards. Didn't stain much either as long as you wash off surfaces straight away. Super impressed by the coverage on my thick hair too.
