Camellia Brand Pink Beans Dry Bean, 1 Pound Bag

these pink bean are wonderful and I didn't find any small rocks in this brand, totally clean from debris and they did make a great tasting hispanic refried bean recipe that was excellent!

I heard about these two weeks ago from my sister-in-law. I bought these immediately to try out in a chili recipe. They were wonderful!

While I have yet to cook the beans , I have examined the packages carefully and the beans are a good color and size and it does not appear that there are a lot of shriveled or bad looking beans in any of the 6 bags I purchased . That was a real problem with the other brand I purchased before . I had to throw out nearly one quarter of the bag as they were not fit to cook ! I am looking forward to fixing these beans as they look to be great quality .

Taste great and convenient to order. Don’t have any nearby stores that sell pink beans so had to resort to online purchases. Made a similar purchase of a different brand and that taste was off and funky. These were great!

they were just very average and not creamy at all

They were ok. I bought 2 bags. The first batch were icky (my fault for using a recipe I wasn’t familiar with) and the 2nd batch was good. Doubled the bacon, added a ham hock and used liquid smoke flavoring.

I purchased 2 diffferent beans and disappointed to find these not sealed properly. I took them out of the package. And they started dripping out onto the ground. It looks like the side flaps didnt’ seal properly. Very disappointed.

Very similar tasting to pinto beans; only a little softer, which I like.
