These were so much fun. My daughter loved breaking them open. She did need some help on some of them but so worth the money for the time and memories you get with them. The quality is good and very accurate description.

These were a great gift, easy to break, fun to break and look at. Just don’t expect much in the variety department. They are all pretty much the exact same. Still cool though !

The kids liked breaking them open. Some were easy to break while others took longer/more effort to break. Disappointed that they were all identical inside and no color- just clear crystal

I've done this as a STEAM experiment with the students in my elementary after school program twice now (different students each time), and they love it! This last group said it was their favorite experiment so far. I taught them about geodes and nodules, and then let them pick out a geode that I then broke open for them. They got to keep the geode in the end and thought it was super cool! Even the ones that were more solid were a hit, though there was one I couldn't open whatsoever, no matter how hard I tried. The kids didn't mind, and one brought it home to see if their dad could open it for them with a drill. So, no harm done. Of the 50 or so I've had, only one was truly unbreakable with a hammer, so not a bad ratio.

Kinda small but very fun cutting them open!! I have bought these before, last ones were bigger. Really fun for the kids!!
