Samsung USB Type-C to 3.5 mm Jack adapter, White, Ee-UC10J

First, for those who ask why normal adapters don't work on some phones like the S20/S21 series, then these phones don't have a chip called DAC (Digital Analog Converter) which is required to convert the digital audio signal to the analog signal required by headphones/speakers to actually produce sound. Standard USB-C has optional analog pins that can be used to output analog signals to regular audio output. But since those Samsung phones dont have a built-in DAC chip, these optional pins can't be used, instead, the actual adapter (Type-C to 3.5mm jack) must have a DAC chip inside it. Technically not all adapters with a DAC chip will work as the phone must also recognize the DAC chip to communicate with it, some adapters will fully work as intended like this one, or even the Apple original Type-C to headphone jack. And some other brands will work also, but some might have some compatibility issues, like for example no microphone support (you can't use it for phone calls) or the headset buttons won't work, so you won't be able to use answer or end the call or adjust the volume from the headset. Some adapters might even have some audio quality issues like cracking and noise. This adapter because it's made by Samsung works perfectly, all features are working also and it support hi-res audio also. The adapter even works on Windows and Mac systems.

Finally got the original. Tried many places.. Had to return all of them as they had issues.. Crackling sound... Static sound.. Nd one of them even failed a couple of times on day one itself... Got this today nd it works great. The sound is clean.. No static no hissing.. Love it..

Works as intended with my new Samsung S20 FE 5G. Its original so it works like it should be without any noise and the volume coming out of my headphones is really high compared to Headphone jack in other older phones that I had. So it's a great investment.

It served the purpose for which it was bought, and as such no complaints.

I have Sennheiser CX 300S & Sennheiser 80s in-ear headphones with mic. The mic is not working with this adapter, on a Samsung Galaxy s25+. Though it should work. Because both in-ear headphones i mention use 3.5mm TRRS jacks (4-pole CTIa Standard.) Waste.

FINALLY. I've bought so many of these in the search of one that will work with my Samsung S20FE. Goodness, it's been hard! This seems to work! And audio quality is good. Excited to use my wire earphones again. Definitely recommend.

Ich nutze den Samsung USB-C auf 3,5 mm Klinkenadapter nun seit mehreren Monaten täglich – und das völlig problemlos. Der Adapter funktioniert absolut zuverlässig: Kein Rauschen, keine Aussetzer, kein Wackelkontakt. Er wird sofort erkannt, die Audioqualität bleibt klar und kräftig. Im Vergleich zu vielen billigen Alternativen, bei denen man nie weiß, ob sie morgen noch gehen, bekommt man hier ein Stück solide Technik zum absolut fairen Preis. Für ein Original-Zubehörteil von Samsung finde ich den Preis mehr als angemessen – man bezahlt hier für Qualität, die man auch tatsächlich bekommt. AKG K371 studyo kulaklık kullanıyorum. Daha önce bilgisayarın jakında takıp Spotify dinlerdim. Şimdi S21 Ultra'da 3.5mm jak olmadığı için bu adaptörü almak durumunda kaldım. Daha sonra kulaklığı 3.5mm giriş yerine adaptör takarak bilgisayarın USB-C girişine taktım ve ben bunca zamandır müzik dinlemiyormuşum dedim. Belki diğer kullanıcıların belirttiği dahili DAC tan dolayıdır. Ayrıca Windows 10 ara sıra 3.5mm girişi algılamıyordu. Bu ufacık kablo parçasını bir güzel Samsung headphone olarak algılıyor. Altın kaplama olmadığı için bu ara eleman ses kalitesini düşüreceği için endişeleniyordum ama şu an tam tersi bir etki yaşamanın şoku içerisindeyim. Fiyat olarak eleştirilmiş ama UGREEN in DAC lı modeline tek alternatif zaten bu var sitede. Malzeme kalitesinden aslında 1 yıldız kırmak lazımdı, ama başka adaptör denemediğim için net bir şey diyemeyeceğim. Kulaklığı adaptöre takarken çıt diye sert bir ses geliyor kırılacak diye korkuyorum ama muhtemelen yersiz endişeleniyorum. Kablo da yumuşak plastik yerine zırhlı olsaydı güzel olurmuş. emables me to use my apple earbud head phones with my samsung and experience full volume. the microphone on apple wired headphones also work, so i can make and end calls too. the apple integrated volume up and down doesnt work, but the connect disconnect button does. if you have a samsung and want to use headphones, this is the usbc adaptor to use. i have tried an apple version of this usbc adaptor, however on a samsung they reduce the volume level so much its unusable. get this proper samsung adaptor for your samsung phone, it works. just wish samsung made headphones like apple did, but this adaptor makes it work for me.
