Since the adjustable range of CR23 is limited, we recommend the maximum distance between the two ends of CR23 is 20 feet.

Would these fittings work with 1/8" vinyl coated cable wire so the vinyl cable is able to fit inside the fitting prior to crimping?

Don't think so because the vinyl will pull off.
