Overall, this switch works great. It would have been nice if it included a wiring diagram for installation. I probably would have installed without the switch light wire because it’s very bright at night, and I positioned it pointing directly at my face. That’s optional though, and I could change the connection if needed.I added clear sealant to the area where the wire exits the unit, but it would probably be fine without that.

After buying this a couple of years ago, I got around to installing it... the wire colors are not correct, I verified with ohm meter and nine volt battery prior to installation. My switch is blue to pos on battery, brown to neg on battery and black to positive on load. Please verify correct functionality before hooking it up. It will save you melting some stuff.

The switch is fine, looks great on the handle bars. The LED ON is great to confirm power ON. I put this on my Indian Scout for aux lights. The cable provided will only reach to the entry at the back of the head light with the shortest possible route. I needed to solder and heat shrink an additional 3, 6 inch leads in order to get to the power and make connections INSIDE the head light. The switch did not fit the handle bar diameter, it was bigger. I had to add 6 layers of heavy tap to the inside of the mount to get a firm installation. Improvements needed are 6 inches more of wire and plastic strips to fill the gaps on the mounting.

Despite the water resistance, not yet tested.But you won't be able to use it if you don't get a rubber insertion between the clamp and handlebar.I tried to talk to the seller before giving out this review, no responding. and I don't want to spent more time remove it and return.That's it, I'm giving in one star with that much money buying a lazy design switch. 15 bucks and you don't even want to attach a rubber insertion?!

Blue wire from the switch goes to + from the battery. Black wire is the + to the accessory you are installing. Brown wire needs to be spliced in with the - from the battery and to the - from the accessory you are installing.I hooked mine up to a 9 inch light bar on the front of my quad, works great but would've been nice if it came with a wiring diagram and maybe even a splicer connection. They are cheap and easy to include and would save the buyer having to run out a buy one prior to install.

Worked great, after I burned up the first one. Make sure you wire it correctly, or else you let out the "magic smoke."Black anodizing looks great next to all the other black on my bike.I hooked these up to a pair of fog lights:  Nilight Led Light Bar 2PCS 18w 4" Flood Driving Fog Light Off Road Lights Boat Lights driving lights Led Work Light SUV Jeep Lamp,2 years Warranty  along with the wiring/relay kit (get one, and replace the switch with this one) and they work great.5 stars.

I ended up returning it because I have tapered handle bars (runs between 1" and 7/8") and I changed where I wanted to install this switch for my aux lights and it ended up being too loose of a fit. But, the switch seemed sturdy and well built. It's a shame they don't make it in the 7/8" size.

Works well, fit the bike (2002 Suzuki Intruder). 3 wires. Switch has an LED in it that I couldn't get to work (my bad, not theirs). No wiring instructions provided. Install was easy over all, but I did add a small piece of rubber between the bar and switch to tighten it up a bit.Update. I ordered a 2nd one and it didn't work at all.Not worth returning. May try to crack it open to see how it's made. No instructions or information is provided with the switch.
