The most valuable machine in my tool box!
I had a sump system installed in my wash room early this summer which was improperly installed and therefore I had to rig a system to drain water from under the foundation until my system is up and running. To do this I used a large volume water vac and then submerged the Bug into the container to divert the water outside with the hose setup on the WaterBug. This is a miracle machine! It is well made, sturdy, fast draining (very fast). You have to stand near the electrical outlet (the Bug is not automatic) to cut the electricity because it drains sooooo fast, you don’t want the Bug to operate on a dry surface. I was totally amazed at how quickly it drains. It is small enough to put into a good size bucket, has two hose attachment ports which is so helpful because you’re limited on space when it is submerged in a large bucked so having the top port was fabulous. I carefully read all the directions and placed the Bug on a plastic cover I put at the bottom on the bucket to prevent it sucking up any loose debris from the water hole. Having really good luck so far, I then ordered an inexpensive but durable plastic debris filter to set under the pump for future use. The WaterBug has now gone to the very top of my “go-to” most valuable, time saving, stress reducing piece of equipment guaranteed to get you out of a nasty situation. I’m so thankful I thought this through to look on Amazon to meet so many needs, particularly pesky ones! Thank you WaterBug and Jeff Bezos from Amazon. It’s unbelievable how quickly you can purchase items and have themIn your home within two days. Changes life as we once knew it, for sure!!!

SO GOOD.
Ooooooweee, this little sucker helps us get the disgusting water out of our above ground pool - down to the very bottom - after the cover fell in over the winter and created quite the mess. And it works FAST. Like way faster than we were expecting. So glad we purchased this. It was a lifesaver in cleaning our pool.

Excellent Multi-Purpose pump to have around the home or shop
This is a Very Nice Pump. It's not an auto-start pump or a circulating pump for ponds and such, but if you need to move liquid from One Place To Another with a very easy to size device, this pump is for you. I use this for general use, including flushing water heaters, draining basins, and washing things. The base of this pump fits _exactly_ inside a 5-gallon bucket, meaning anywhere you can insert a bucket, you can make an easy sump. The design of the pump means it self-filters, and won't suck in leaves and debris due to the way it fits, assuming you use a flat-bottom thing (like a bucket) to make it fit.Recently I was using it to flush our tankless water heater; I tend to lose a pump a year doing this, as you gotta run it for quite a while, and the sort of grit that comes out of our old rusty pipes sort of eats must "submersible" pumps up. But this guy? No problem. Just ran through it's second season of flushing today, and gotta say, this is a great pump for this kind of task. It flows quite a lot for low-head stuff like this, meaning we get full-flow through the water heater when flushing and rinsing- The fact it fits in a bucket, and has outlets on the top and side means you can just pick it up and move it between your buckets to swap from clean to rinse.Anyways, great pump. Don't put it in your pond, though, but keep it around for draining your sump if you sump pump dies, flushing your water heater, getting that extra bit out of the bottom of the pool drain, keeping the basement floor (dry) ish when your water softener explodes. Lots of uses; Great pump. Would highly recommend.

Strong Little Pump - WAYNE Waterbug 1/6 HP 1350 GPH
I've used this pump twice in the last seven months to drain a pond with roughly 2000 gallons of water. I really like the fact that it has two garden hose attachments, one at the top and one on the side. That's super convenient. I've found, like others, that the impeller can clog pretty quickly with any large debris (leaves, dirt, etc.). But, the impeller cleanout is not very difficult. When using this pump with clean water it works like a champ. It's very light and the cord wrap is convenient. Sits very flat to the surface getting water at a super low point. Highly recommended for pumping clean water! I'd like to see the price about $20 bucks less :)

Water BEAST!
An entire winters worth of snow is starting to thaw in Northwoods Wisconsin. We have a poor drainage design on my driveway that leaves us walking through a massssive pond of runoff when we go out the back door. THIS WATER BEAST SUCKED IT UP AND TRANSFERRED THE WATER 200 feet around my house and to the edge of the hill 85% faster and better than my two previous pumps! The suction power is amazing. And it is a quiet pump! It is a windy day here, I turned it on, then I had to walk around the house to check the end of the hose to make sure it was fully working because it was so quiet.I have been battling this ever-growing pond all week with two separate pumps. One from flotec and an Ace Hardware brand. They were junk in comparison.Jeepers, this thing WORKS!!!I even dragged it into a sinking section in my yard that was also turning into a small pond. I stuck a large placemat down and pushed it under the water, then placed the water bug on top (so as not to suck up grass, etc.) turned it on and whoosh! Mini-yard-pond gone in a flash. It’s not a bug. It’s a beast.Kicking myself for not getting the WaterBug a week prior, cuzzzz man, what pains and hassle those other two pumps put me through all day and up 1-2x to pump in the night…felt like I was a new mom again having to get up to change diapers and brst feed a baby. This week has been exhausting dealing with that water! So very grateful someone made a great product here. So so so worth every penny.Thank you Water Beast!
