AvaCostumeGirls Chinese Dragon Phoenix Qipao Cheongsam Dress

It’s a pretty dress very nice but it fits very small I got a 5yr old but it seems it would fit a 3 yr old

My niece (8-1/2) had outgrown the 2 quipao (purchased locally in stores) we had bought for her last year so my sister was looking for something she could wear through several Lunar New Year celebrations this year. I found the AvaCostume quipao on Amazon and we ordered two; one in red (the classic celebratory color) and one in Lake Blue, which my niece immediately said she wanted when she saw the color on the computer screen. The two dresses arrived in a much smaller package than expected, which made us worry -- but once unpacked and unfolded, the quality was much better than expected and they fit exactly as we had thought they should. My niece is comfortable in them and they look very nice on her; the only problem is that the closures have been very stiff, and one was accidentally torn off when my niece had to squeeze between two chairs in a crowded restaurant. However, the two dresses combined were less than the cost of a very similar single dress from another source, which proved to be much too tight even though it was listed at the same size. We don't expect these to fit for more than another couple of months, but they look so nice on my niece & she likes them so much they're well worth the money.

The only thing I can say I did not like about this product is that had I not read the reviews and tried getting my daughter a size 10 or 12 the dress would have been way to small. I had to get my ten year old daughter the largest size they had which is a 16 and my daughter is very slim and the dress still fit her kinda snug in some spots. But over all she got a ton of complements while wearing it. The colors where beautiful also the last complaint was the dress kept un buttoning but other than that like I said I gave 5 stars because my daughter recieved so many compliments while wearing the dress.

It was a bit broken and easy to tear but the design and performance was overall great!
