nowadays you can buy faster gen4-5 ssds, however this is still one of the best gen3 in terms of reliability. I got it coz its still pretty fast for gaming and regular pc use + it has dram cache

Bought this drive to add more storage to my gaming PC but decided to clone my existing 1TB SSD to this drive and use it as my Windows drive. The cloning went off without a hitch but my PC's motherboard didn't like it too much and would keep flaking out with random rebooting. Flashing back to an older motherboard BIOS and then flashing the latest version got things working fine again. Speeds are a slight improvement over my older 1TB 970 Evo but I'm happy that my PC now has 3 GB of fast NVME storage.

Very easy to install and use. Drive was already on latest firmware do I just needed to install the Samsung nvme software.

Works as intended. Performance is as advertised. Trustworthy name in the semiconductor industry too!

for modern laptops, the product gets too hot. for getting full performance as advertised you have to Samsung magician software and update the firmware. a very fast and a very good SSD.

Transfer speed may vary depending on the usb type and transfer rate supported by the motherboard of the computer. It is still fast enough to transfer huge data. Regularly used for New Macbook M2 Pro 13" and its data writing is insanely fast. Windows Laptops that are quite old can only give a portion of its true speed.

Bu SSD NVMe ve diğer SATA SSD'ler gibi 550/520 gibi sınırlı hızlara sahip değil. Dolayısıyla da klasik bir SSD'ye nazaran daha fazla ısınması normal ve bunu bilerek kullanın. Bu sebeple kasanızın hava sirkülasyonu iyi olmalı. Havasız bir kasada, yük altında 75-105 derece civarına kadar çıkacaktır. Masaüstü kullanımında ve oyunlarda, normal SSD'lere kıyasla +5 ila 10 derece arasında daha fazla ısınıyor. Bu normal bir değer fakat asıl dikkat etmeniz gereken şey benchmark ve uzun süreli dosya transferleri. Uzun süreli tam kullanımda cihaz, tam kapasite yüke gireceği için pasif soğutma değil de aktif soğutma yapmanız gerekiyor. We got is yesterday 13th Jul, 2018. In image it is mentioned that product is made in Korea whereas we received Made in China. It feels bad to us. But product is working fine. Samsung Magician is showing as Genuine product. We are using it in Dell 7570. We look forward to own one 1TB 970 evo too. Once you buy it then you will install is in your system which will be having the UEFI mode by default. Kindly create the installation USB with UEFI mode using Rufus software then change your system BIOS setting to boot from USB then you will be able to install new window as well. Kindly change the drive format to gpt as well otherwise it will show you error saying you cannot install windows on this system. Following these steps you will be able to get new fresh windows installed and it works fine.
