It helps a bit with both enhancing and shaping curls. When used correctly, it helps curls maintain the shape in which they naturally fall without frizzing.

Would this product work for 2b/2c hair?

I have no idea. But I am mixed and it left my hair a horrible sticky mess. No curls defined, just wet looking hair. Although I did air dry, and did not blow it out.

It is not fragrance free, it has a clean lemon smell. It is not strong though, when your hair is dry, you don't smell it unless you literally stick your nose in your hair, and even then, it's not too noticeable.

In need of assistance. I have 2 boys who are biracial. 1 with curly course, the other straighter what will give them the best results?
