Simple and just works
I was on the hunt for a Thunderbolt 4 (USB 4) docking station that could handle 3 1440p monitors using DisplayPort. I tried two different ones priced close to $300, and both had issues. I finally decided to try this simple and relatively inexpensive monitor adapter and it just works without any additional drivers or software. I have 3 1440p monitors running at 165hz without any issues.

Was very finicky the entire time of owning, but now won't work at all.
I've had this for about 2 years. It's worked most of the time but at least a dozen times I have to unplug everything plug back in, and keep repeating until it works. That trick finally ceased and it just won't work at all anymore. I've tried using different cables to see if that's the problem, but that did not resolve it. I bought a competitor product today so once that one comes in I can determine if it truly was the cable matters adapter that stopped working but I feel pretty certain that it has to be that.

Triple Monitor 1440P capable adapter
Wanted a triple 1440p screen setup for work, found that this fit the bill. Make sure that your computer has the required video hardware though (DisplayPort 1.4 host with the latest Display Stream Compression (DSC) and Multi-Stream Transport (MST) support). Without that you may not get the full resolution you are looking for. Also this information is not easy to find, you'll have to look at the computers video card spec sheets and you might see this information listed. Only downside is if you unplug and plug back in it takes a few seconds for the box to power up and for the monitors to show up. Not a big deal but first time I started it up I thought it was broken.

Three 4k monitors at 60hz
I have an HP Victus laptop with a USB C output (Displayport 1.4 via USB). I connect this cable matters adapter to 3 4k/60hz monitors with displayport cables, and it actually works.Tip One: I have to turn on the laptop with the lid open until the display comes up on one of the monitors, then I close the laptop lid to get it to property display to the three monitors.Tip Two: The first time I set it up, two of my monitors were 4k/60 and the third said it was, but was displaying a really low resolution. In the Windows Display Settings I played around turning down the resolution on that specific display, then back up to 4k/60hz, and it worked and hasn't been an issue since. The first time you use it, you also have to play around with the arrangement of the monitors (such as which one is left/center/right) but Windows remembers this arrangement in the future, so every time you hook up your laptop and close the lid it'll revert to this. Note: I haven't tried HDR but I imagine there could be some bandwidth issues if you're trying to run 3 4k/60 monitors.Tip Three: I haven't had any issues waking the monitors while the laptop is in sleep mode. I never used sleep mode in the past, but if I'm not using my laptop for a few hours, rather than having to open and close the lid to turn it back on, I put it in sleep mode and turn off my wireless keyboard/mouse. When I come back I turn on the power switch to my keyboard/mouse to wake the computer and the monitors are right back up with the proper display.Tip Four: The usb cable is very short. I bought a USB4 Male to Female extension cable (ULT-WIIQ) and shockingly everything still works. On the reviews for that cable, I heard some people comment about polarity issues where they had to turn the cable around to get it working, but I haven't had that issue yet. It would be nice if Cable Matters made the usb cable longer, but some issues with high bandwidth cables can be due to cable length, so I understand if that's why they kept the cable short.

Works great for my employees
I am a 25 year IT Veteran and this product works great for our employees who use 3 monitors. Primarily accounting people but it is small compact and have not had a problem with any of them and use the Cable Matters products a lot. Great product and price.

Works at 60hz only, Cable Matters Triple Monitor USB C Hub with 3X DisplayPort
I received the Cable Matters Triple Monitor USB C Hub with 3X Display Port yesterday and connected it on my work Laptop, Dell Latitude 7400. Next I connected my 3X 2K 144HZ Monitors, did set them to 1080 dpi , the max refresh rate was as advertised 60Hz.Its Plug and play for me as long as the Lid of the Laptop stays closed. The Limitation of the Laptop is with due to the Graphics Card, Intel 620, which only supports 3 (Three) screens max.I did order a < 100W USB-C GaN Charger > to go with it as no power supply is included with the Hub, as described. This to power feed the work Laptop from the Hub. I'm curious to see how well that will work.May update this review after I have had some time to 'play' around with that option of this HUB.Overall I'm happy with it as it is a temporarily solution until I get back my other Docking station back from repair which allows for a higher refresh rate as this HUB.For now I can recommend this product with full confidence. In my book a winner for sure.

The only cable that worked
I bought probably 3-4 different cables and they all didn’t work, I was trying to save a little but I guess you have to spend more to get a working device
