Excellent
I love the Lock&Lock brand. I've been using them for quite a long time. My oldest pieces are at least 7 or 8 years old and are still going strong. I use them constantly. I know some folks hate leftovers, but I don't. If I made it in the first place, it was because I like eating it, and if I liked it tonight, I'll like it tomorrow night too! The Lock&Locks keep everything I put into them fresh and ready to be rewarmed.I don't buy sets. Instead, I prefer to just buy the particular pieces that I need when I see them on sale. I can usually find a space-efficient way to store them by putting the smaller ones into the larger ones. I didn't have a Lock&Lock of this size, but I needed a flatter format one for when I make chicken pieces or half a London Broil. This one fit the bill and when it went on sale for four bucks and change, I pulled the trigger. It has the familiar 4 flaps, one on each side of the lid, that engage the equally familiar 2 tabs on each side of the body of the piece. The seal is tight, waterproof and secure. The dimensions in the Product Description are accurate, but keep in mind that they refer to the lid and not the body of the container, which will be slightly smaller. The Lock&Locks are microwave reheatable, but I never do that. Depending on what I'm reheating, if it has tomatoes or oil, that can stain or mar the container. I transfer to the plate I'm going to serve on, and reheat that way. I do wash them in the dishwasher (top rack, or bottom rack *without* heated drying) and my oldest pieces are still perfectly functional.I am a retired engineer, and I think it may be that the simple, effective and direct way that the Lock&Locks solve the food storage problem appeals to my "tech-y" personality. The way that they preserve the freshness of whatever I put in them appeals to my palate, that's for sure!

Rye Bread
I bought this specifically because my rye bread sandwiches don't fit in a standard sandwich container. This works great as long as your sandwich it thick enough to meet the lid.

Not a happy customer
Wasn't the size I expected for the price. Very expensive for how small it is. It's well made though.

Good for the pantry
We have been using lock 'n lock rectangular containers for years. They come in a couple of formats that can nest and stack with zero lost volume. They are airtight which makes them very good for flour, sugar, and other grain products. My wife also likes them for projects.

Works well
I've purchased a collection of these now in different sizes & at different times as my older Tupperware type storage containers wore.I LOVE the locking lid function as it absolutely seals whatever it is you are trying to store. With food storage this is not only a convenience, but a health issue as well. Many other brands have weak or iffy top seals which diminishes potential food storage time, increases the risk of spoilage/disease and promotes freezer burn - depending on how you are using them.I'm a bachelor & often have leftovers from take-out or making a big batch of chili or the like - so this particular brand & style is superior for my needs.I use it, like it and recommend to others.

Since I love the quality so much
I had an old lock and lock box which I used daily as my lunch box to office . I used it for almost a year and it never failed in quality or purpose. It never leaked , kept the food hot for atleast 30-35 min, and the locks were extranet study. The only reason I went for a second box is cos the first one got stained due to excessive usage . And it kinda felt filthy using an old stained lunch box to eat food from. Since I love the quality so much, I went for the same thing again. I've uploaded photos of how it looked when it gets stained after daily usage , and the new one.

Works good for oblong bread
I bought these hoping it would fit The Oblong bread for sandwiches for lunch, it works perfect. Saving wasting a plastic sandwich bag everyday.
