Can a 3x5 card fit inside this case without being damaged or is it too tight for that?

Good question. Happy to help. Got my 3 x 5 pouch and a stack of 3 x 5 cards and did some experimenting. When I aligned the long axis (5) of the cards with the long axis of the pouch, I could get a single card into the pouch easily, but the bottom corners (inside the pouch) bent over a little. The entire card fit into the pouch, but the top corners (zipper side of the pouch) were sticking out. This pouch has dual full size zippers. I could zip them up each side, but to turn the corner and zip them together at the top, the corners of the card had to be tucked inside a little. Tucking the corners, even gently, resulted in the corners being bent about 1/8 inch. Because of the interior seams associated with the zippers are a little bulky, a 1 inch stack of cards could be inserted with a little effort, but the zippers could only zip up to the corner, and not around the corner or over the top to complete closure. Once again, because this is a soft pouch, the corners inside the pouch suffered. Look at the picture of the pouch. 3 inches high by 5 inches wide. If you want to carry the cards upright in the pouch, the fit is of course much more loose. The zippers can turn the corners, but because now the cards protrude about 1 1/4 inches out of the pouch, they can't zip closed. With the cards in either orientation, when the pouch was oriented as it is in the picture, the cards were pretty secure in the pouch without the zippers completely closed. But any time the pouch was inverted, with the zippers not completely closed, the cards always fell out. Completely closing the pouch always resulted in bent corners, and became more difficult as the stack of cards got thicker. It took a little effort and tucking to completely close the pouch with a 1/4 inch thick stack of cards. Sorry - long answer to a short question. Just wanted you to have enough information to make a good decision. Pouch construction is EXCELLENT. Maxpedition pouches are always thoughtfully designed and superbly constructed, consistently displaying high quality materials and attention to detail. The basic dimensions are correct, and even a little roomy, but the corners are very snug.

Does this product have a belt loop? What is a "fully backed hook field"?
