Dell D420 Toshiba Drive replaced successfully
I replaced a toshiba ZIF PATA harddisk in my wifes Dell D420 with 64 GB KingSpec SSD today, without any problems. Windows 8.1 boots to login screen in about 4-5 Seconds. Great!Replacement was pretty easy - just flip black lever on connector up with your fingernail, pull out flat cable, put cable back into ZIF connector of the SSD and flip lever with fingernail back down.Even the rubber protector fits somehow.Before I tried two different ZIF to mSATA Adapters bot none worked.

Works with 1st generation macbook air
