This network card is exactly what I needed for faster wired connectivity. Installation was simple, and the card was recognized immediately without any driver issues. The Realtek RTL8125 chip delivers consistent and reliable speeds, making it perfect for gaming, streaming, or large file transfers. The build quality feels solid, and the card sits securely in the PCIe slot. I’ve noticed a significant improvement over my previous 1Gb network card, with stable and smooth performance. Overall, this is a high-quality, easy-to-use upgrade for anyone looking to boost their network speed. Definitely a five-star choice for home or office setups.

I am using this in my pfsense box, they work out of the box. I replaced the stock thermal glue with a drop of MX4. It does get little hot without a fan so I added an 80mm fan facing directly on the nic and it is much cooler now even under heavy load.

I bought this for an HP 54L Microserver I bought in 2010 and still have in use as a lab box. I have upgraded my house network to 2.5 / 10gb (depending on the box) and wanted this to participate. The card comes with a low-profile bracket and works just fine in a PCIE 2.0 slot. Three different versions of Windows on the box recognized it immediately and this should extend the lifetime of the box until the grandmotherboard finally gives out. It worked so well, in fact, that I got a second card and dropped it in a Dell PowerEdge 720 as well. The price may seem a bit high, but it's 2 ports and I expect it'll get pulled for other use when/if either server I have gets replaced.
