Great flavor. Convenient.
The texture and appearance gross me out a little but I’m overly sensitive to those types of things so I didn’t remove any stars for that reason. I’ve purchased several times. It’s very convenient that it doesn’t require refrigeration. I’ve put it in several dishes as a quick easy add on. I do agility with my dog and fresh chicken is her favorite. This was also very convenient to use for that. A little messy for that purpose but quick and easy.

Not especially fond of this chicken
I like ready to eat shredded chicken, but have not been able to get my favorite product as it’s been out of stock on Amazon for weeks. So I decided to try this new-to-me Chicken of the Sea product. I was very disappointed after opening the first pouch. The bits I tried were too salty for me so I scooped out the pouch contents and ran it through cold water in a strainer. That took care of the excessive salt, but the chicken was like mush as opposed to shreds. I had intended to add some of this to a Lipton Cup-O’ Soup Chicken noodle soup and did, but the so-called shreds were so small they disappeared in the mix and could barely be tasted.The best I can say about this 🐔 chicken 🐓 in a pouch is that I have two more pouches and six 🐈 cats 🐈 and all loved this chicken so they will be getting this as a topper over their regular canned cat food. After it is VERY well rinsed to rid as much of the salt content as possible! But I won’t be buying this again - not even for the cats!!
