Petmate Booda Clean Step Cat Litter Box Dome Replacement Litter Box Liners- Jumbo

In the span of 2 years, I have tried 4 different litter boxes for my kitty. Apartment living is challenging for litterbox maintenance, especially with a kitty who digs so much. I read the reviews here and can see why some of the reviews were negative. However, I have found that HANDS DOWN, this is the best litter box for containing odor, reducing litter, trailing and dust, and is also aesthetically pleasing, stylish. Here is my secret for success: 1. I use litter box liners, which I have shown in the picture. I line the box with 2 as a double layer. This prevents any ripping from excessive digging. They fit inside this particular model and keep everything manageable. I scoop my box once every morning, then top off the litter with a little sprinkling a fresh litter. 2. I use sweet scoop or World's best -- both are natural litters -- and scoop and flush it directly into my toilet! I only flush one urine or bowel movement at a time, so I do not clog the toilet. It breaks up very easily and flushes. No stinky litter genie to manage, cheaper, and less plastic in the landfill!! 3. I sweep the little teency bit of litter trail which is only right in front of the step after I scoop. Easy peasy. 4. A huge pro for me is that there is a charcoal filter included in the dome of this litter box. It’s really awesome especially for apartment living where we don’t have the luxury of hiding the litter box in a basement! 5. Once a week, I just pick up the entire litter liner bag and put it in the trash. The bottom of the litter box is spotless. no need to worry about the scooper missing spots due to the curved pan shape, as some have complained about. Some have also complained about urine leaking out the side or the top not staying on. I have had none of these problems and I am sure the plastic liner eliminates any risk of leakage. So products I use in a nutshell to keep litter area obsessive-level clean: - this litter box -Petmate jumbo litterbox liners - Swheat Scoop flushable cat litter - plastic or nonstick scooper - Catguru scoop caddy -small handheld brush and dustpan

I found that the liners don't fit the Dome models without adjusting for the curved shape of the pan. The excess liner material has to be folded under and taped, which is not easy.

This letterbox was a good idea, unfortunately no one makes decent liners. Perhaps the company who makes these will see my review and the others that are similar... If so please read the next sentence. WATCH A CAT GO TO THE BATHROOM. When a cat uses a litter box, at least every cat I've seen so far, they want to bury their stuff. So they shovel some litter with their paw to cover it. They extend their class to help shovel and if they rip the liner and throw little pieces of it on their business. If your liners are thin or not secured correctly. This will result in a mess that defeats the purpose of the liner. These liners neither secure very well nor do they stand up to clawing very well. If these are the liners you are going to produce, you'd be better off not producing any.

Thankfully these fit my cat's Booda Dome litter box better than the liner that the box came with, but they are definitely not as durable as the original liner. I have yet to notice any tearing in the plastic from my cat's claws when she kicks/digs to cover her mess with litter, but I've read many reviews that mentioned it and I fear it is inevitable. To avoid this, I've been using two liners; the bottom one will catch any spills if the top one is ripped. If the top liner doesn't rip, then I leave the bottom one in place under the next new top liner. I don't mind doubling up on liners thanks to the reasonable price.

these liners are a great product, and a great idea. I got a circular litter box, so they fit a bit odd; but would be great, except my new Rescue kitty is such a Miss Priss, she over scratches and cleans up after herself, almost tidy; and it tears the material... I was hoping to pick it up at the right time and gather everything for the trash..... Not gonna use them, so they will be given to the RESCUE we got our Kitty from... It is a great product.

After struggling to keep the box clean, we decided to see if the liner would actually help. the difference cleaning the box was night and day after installing the liner. It went from a struggle to get the litter out, to just scooping it out with ease... Don't know what took so long for me to figure this out... but alas, no more struggling for me!

These litter bags make cleaning my cats little cat box so easy! They're durable as well.

Easily torn by claws & no pull ties to remove bag full of dirty litter - very cumbersome not a fan

The dispatch and delivery was prompt so I have used them again, The product is of Good quality. I ordered a small size in my first try so for next time I ordered a larger size which fits snugly in the litter pan. I found there is nothing wrong with the product. I will be using them agian.

i think these liners are good and are quiet tough have two cats who use tray and they mostly last ocassional rips not often
