Being a glasses wearer, I always have them on at the pool as well. As a result, I always wear a ball cap when there. I tried this hat out there recently; amazing. I dunked it in the water, wrung it out (super easy) slapped it on my head, and continued to watch my kiddos. I felt much cooler on my head than I typically do with a regular athletic style cap. It won't make you feel ice cold, but it is cooling. I didnt feel the sun beating down or warming my head at all. The fabric is light. This was super helpful for my purposes. The fit is great for me; the adjustable band on the back is quick and easy to use thanks to a little added tab. My daughter has one as well and thinks it's fun and helpful to use for the playground, etc.

This is the hat that my family fights over so I am here to order more! It is so nice and thin, and so comfortable. It's seriously better than any other ball cap we have had when it comes to sports, water activities, and hikes. It is the first one we try to grab as we head out the door. Great to pack for trips. Quality material. Highly recommend!

this seems like a great product, but they need to make a few sizes. I have a small-medium head for a man, and this hat looks like a giant mushroom cap on my head. I was unable to find this hat in anything other than "one size" on Amazon, but you can find this hat—or something very similar—on Mission's website that comes in two sizes. I'm going to order the smaller one and report back on whether that fits better.

Stay cool in the summer heat! Very lightweight and comfortable hat. Easily adjustable Velcro strap. I use this while mowing lawns and the cooling effect actually works. Sweating or wetting the hat creates a cooling effect that helps regulate body temp out in the heat. Highly recommend.

Style and quality is good. I bought the hat to use in the summer. When it is very hot, I will wet the hat and wear it . I am sure it will cool me off

Long-term review: The gray one fit perfectly, but the blue was a little snug. Strange that the same hat in different colors can fit differently. I bought these because they stated UPF protection and that they are reportedly washable. Unfortunately, the black band that fits against my forehead under the light gray outer shell is not color fast. Over the past few months, the color has slowly seeped out of the black band during washes (gentle cycle, cold, mild detergent), causing the outer shell to have the appearance that I am always sweaty. I don't think I can wear the light gray one anymore, which is a shame, because it really does fit perfectly. The dark blue hat has a band of the same color as the shell, so no colorfastness problems with that one, just the fit. Until they fix these issues, I'm not sure I would recommend this product.

Nice quality but color is more of a purple/pink. Still love it, just not what was in the picture.

Overpriced and poor quality because all the MISSION letters in the logo in the front came off after washing it just twice. The cooling factor is also just a gimmick, it does not work any better or worse to a normal cap. I’ll give it one star though as it’s light, that is a plus.
