Extremely well made. Very sharp and threaded the hole brilliantly. Never dulled.

Used the M18 * 1.5 to clean / recut the threads of a VERY messed up oxygen sensor thread. Centered easily, tapered tap picked up the old threads well, and a fairly easy job to cut through when helped by plenty of oil and backing off every turn.

Bought these taps to thread some conduit, they arrived in good time well packaged wrapped in wax paper with a coating of protective wax covering the item. They performed really well cutting a nice clean thread in steel conduit using a tap wrench. package consisting of second taper and plug. Good price to top them off

The exhaust temperature probe on my Dad's VW Caravell had gone and needed replacing. When we removed it, it took most of the thread with it (a known issue). We needed the van the following evening, so needed something on prime.These worked brilliantly to re-tap the thread, and saved us loads of money, as we only had to replace the probe, rather than the entire component. Highly recommended and in the drawer in the garage for future use!

I've bought a member of taps from sourcing map and they're all dimensionally accurate, of good quality and perform well with repeated use.

They work, obviously not the best quality in the world but they work to clean up a damaged Nox sensor thread
