I live in the desert and there are two things I get a lot of: dust and spiders! Mostly daddy longlegs, which are harmless (quiet from the peanut gallery -- I know addy longlegs aren't true spiders!). The dust is easy enough to clean up, especially with this microfiber duster. But the spiderwebs show up in the most hard to reach places, and collect dust. Often I don't even notice the webs until the sun hits it just right. The 100 inch reach on this duster is perfect for reaching the ceiling, under furniture, and any other weird place the daddy longlegs decides to weave a web. And I'm just talking about inside! Outside, I could really go to town getting the webs under the eaves and clean up. They do catch other insects, so I'll leave a few for protection. I haven't tried cleaning the duster yet, but it looks sturdy enough to survive either a hand wash, a hose-down, or a proper clothes washer cycle.
