How long are they good for?

when buying this product what is the general length of time you have until expired? (not the expiration on a specific package that is relative)

Thank you for asking. These tablets have a Best By Date of through February 2016; however, if kept in the refrigerator we have heard they last from 6 to 12 months longer.

Is this a vegetarian rennet?

There is also another vegetarian rennet called Marzym rennet made by dupont which has been varified by the vegetarian society as pure vegetarian having absolutely no animal in it and is made from mucor menhei (mushrooms). Just goole marzyme rennet for where to buy it. Unfortunately amazon is not selling it through its website.
