I've been an avid self-tanner for years, and when my Fake Bake mitt tore recently I bought this as a replacement. It's a game changer- almost NO product gets through to my hands thanks to the plastic lining inside, and its so soft and plush that it manages to spread the product much more evenly than your hand or one of those sponge-type mitts. It takes a bit more soap and wringing to get it clean after each use, but it is well worth it for the quick, even, easy results it delivers.

I've tried all the tanning mitts throughout the years (St. Tropez, Loving Tan, and just latex or nitrile gloves) and this is by far the BEST thing I've ever used for self tanning. It's extremely well constructed and allows application to be flawless. I've had other "Tanning Company" mitts that are super cheaply made (yet far more expensive), flocked only on one side (so if your hand every rotates at all, you will get tan soaked through to your hand), and with those same mitts they sell with their product, the seams will open up, after only a few uses, which entirely leaves your hand exposed. I've recommended this mitt to all my friends and have already used it 20+ times with no notice of use. It still looks clean and new. I would repurchase 10 times over, and have already recommend it to EVERYONE I know! (well everyone I know who uses self tanner)

It has been many years since I have used a self tanning product and I remembered what I hated about it was how messy it was to apply which usually caused streaks and a fake looking tan. Since self tanning products have improved I decided to try a mousse. The instructions suggested using a tanning mitt. I ordered Famous Dave's tanning mitt and was not disappointed. It was very soft and velvety and I liked that it was brown so you wouldn't see the stains from the tanning product. It fit well and I used it on both hands to apply the mousse. It was very easy to clean, just washed it with dish washing soap and water and hung it in the laundry room to dry. I have used it several times and it looks like new and I am completely satisfied with this product.

I just used this for the first time. it’s a good mitt for reusable purposes and the fact it’s so cheap. my only negative comments about it are that about halfway through my tanning routine I started noticing the hairs were shedding and then I had brown little hairs all over, i’m guessing the tanning foam made it so wet that they fell out, to me it is not any big of a deal I don’t think it’s affecting the way my tan looks. also my hand gets suuuuper sweaty because of the plastic inside but also not much can be done about that I guess. it is super soft and seems to spread evenly and can be washed and reused, would recommend if the little hairs won’t bother you!

Hands down the absolute BEST self tanning mitt I've ever used, and I've tried most of the more expensive brands. The thumb adds so much more control and helps it not to slide, and the texture of the mitt itself had a lot of slip which makes streaks almost impossible, and applying product extremely easy. This little mitt changed my self tanning experience and cuts time for a full body application in half. I bought one for my best friend as well because I know she will be just as obsessed as I am! It's amazing!

I read several reviews on a bunch of different tanning mitts before placing my order for this one. I'm so glad I did! It lives up to its reputation. The thumb definitely is an important part that helps keep it on and to maneuver. Love that it's two-sided so u can use the back of ur hand instead of taking it off and switching hands. I would like the company also make one w/ terry cloth material, to give a rougher buffing effect when blending the product. I use a tanning mousse and it dries fast. I think a rougher material may help to blend it better. This material is super soft n furry. So if u use mousse, just apply a smaller amount per section and blend well before applying more. But I'm not complaining. I would def recommend this and I would def reorder if I needed another mitt. I also love that it's lined w/ a plastic type barrier inside so I don't get the tanning product on my hands.

This glove is very small. I have short fingers and it just fit. Looks almost child sized to me. I was able to use it but if you have longer fingers this will be too short. Its a nice glove otherwise although it seemed to soak up more product than I'm used to.

LOVE this tanning mitt! I was never one for self tanning products as I always thought that they made my skin orange. I was preparing for a trip in which I'd be wearing short dresses and since I've been trying to stay out of extreme sun and take better care of my skin, my legs were looking a little pale and pasty. I searching Amazon looking for a self tanning product that worked quickly and fell in love with Jergen's Instant Sun self tanning foam. What I did NOT fall in love with was having my hands turn orange (I had just assumed if I scrubbed them after application that the color would come off). I messed around with some different varieties of rubber gloves, but really wanted a permanent (not disposable) solution. This tanning mitt was the answer to my problem! I'm actually shocked at how evenly it distributes the foam. I have NO issues with anything seeping through, and am actually able to get the foam onto my feet and ankles without any steaks or dark spots. This mitt is comfortable and the outside is super soft. It's easy to take on and off and dries quickly. I highly recommend this item!
