I dont use this for stencil cutting, although it would do that. I use it for embroidery designs made with organza. Using the tip of this that’s heated up to seal the edges. Works great for hat.

Best tool of my life. This is a billion times easier and can do more intricate designs than an exacto knife. I followed instructions and practiced a few times to get the hang of it. I love it so much.

The stencil cutter came with everything as advertised and it worked when I plugged it in. My concern after using it for 3 or 4 hours is its durability. Also, it's pretty lightweight, easy to knock off its stand so you have to be real careful. I'm pleased with it, just not sure how long it's going to last.

It worked great! I used this to create stencils. It was my first time using one and it made the process so much easier! It’s very difficult to use x-acto blades when cutting a stencil and takes forever. This amazing gadget cut the time by hours!! I was able to complete intricate stencils in less than 10 min. It took about 10 minutes to heat up to full capacity and I kept a rag handy to quickly wipe the tip every now and then as the plastic would accumulate from time to time. The easiest way to describe it is it melts the Mylar similarly to how a hot glue gun melts the glue sticks, it’s about the same consistency. I’m really happy with it. I completed 15 stencils with the curved tip and nothing went wrong.

I read reviews online. I can totally see where people say the lines are not laser sharp, as the tip melts plastic, rather than cuts it. I would say these comments are accurate, however, if you take your time, I think it can really make beautiful, intricate, stencils for products that don't necessarily have to be clear, cut, perfect lines. I made a stencil for my friend that had intricate leafs and flowers and it turned out more than great. I cannot attest to how long this product lasts, as I have only used it once, but I think if you make sure to not use the product for extended periods of time it seems quality enough to last a long time. Very happy with it overall. It cut through two fused pieces of laminate with little trouble for reference on the material that I used.

Do not buy this stencil cutter. It does not work at all. It barely makes a line, more like a scratch with a pin then "cutting." Sorry I missed the return/refund date. It just made a mess of my vinyl pattern. It isn't worth a dime, let alone $15.00.

It's works and is nice to hold

Achtung! Amerikanischer Stecker! Das Hauptproblem bei dem Gerät ist eher, dass es trotz Adapterstecker in Europa nicht betrieben werden kann. Der Cutter arbeitet nur mit 110V. Die Spitze wird bei 220V so heiß, dass diese sich verformt. Das Produkt ist aus sehr minderwertigem Kunststoff hergestellt. Die Griffhilfe verrutscht beim kleinsten Druck. Aufgrund des schlechten Produktbeschreibung und der Qualität des Produktes gibt es von mir nur einen Stern.
