This water hardness test kit has everything you need to test your water! I highly recommend this kit. There is an ample amount of testing strips (2 packages) that are included and a graph printed on the side of the container that is used to compare your tested strip with a hardness scale (color coded). The instructions are easy to follow. We have very hard water and needed to know where to set our water softener to eliminate the hardness. This test kit worked perfectly and was accurate. The size of the box is easily stored away for future use and there is a lifetime supply of test strips for our use, very good value for the price. We tested for hardness but not chlorine as that was not our issue. The kit does test for that as well.

I used these at 4 different site and worked as described. One site I knew was hard water and the others were known to be soft water and it showed as so. Now I'm able to make corrections. Comes with plenty of test strips, would buy again.

For me comparing the test strip color to the color chart is more difficult than I expected. It seems to work correctly, but it also seems somewhat difficult to compare. But I have only tested the water 4 times so far. I have 146 more test strips, so hopefully I will get better at comparing in the future, as I do more testing. Wish me luck.

Very quick and easy way to check your hardness. Almost a must have if you have a water softener. I thought my water didn't feel the same then after checking it I found out the resin went bad.

I bought these Varify water hardness test strips to check if my home water softener is working right. My friend recommended them to me. They are really easy to use. Just dip one in the water for a few seconds, wait 30 seconds, and compare the color to the chart. The colors are clear enough to read, and I got consistent results when I tested a few times which matches what I expected. Good value with 150 strips in the bottle. It has 50 in the main container and then 2x full refill pouches with 100 more.

Very imprecise. Colors change and fade, and even if you manage to do it right, you end up with a wide scale between two colors and you have to estimate with a LOT of error margin. Buy an electronic tool instead, don’t waste your money on this.

These are perfect especially for me as had an issue with our watersoftner, purchased these at a ridiculous price we'll worth the money.
