Waffle Zoo Waffle Maker - Make Fun Animal Shaped Waffle in Minutes

Bought this as a gift for two girls ages 7 and 11. It was such a hit! Easy to use (bought the batter bottle also) and they loved making their own waffle zoo animals. Ate the waffles even without butter or syrup as a quick after school snack.I would recommend this as a unique gift for any age kid. Or for that matter any one with a craving for fun waffles. It is attractive enough to sit on the counter tools it's ready at a moment's notice.plan on getting another one for the grandkids. May get two....One zoo animals and one sea creatures.

Bought the Waffle Zoo Maker for our daughter's family for Valentine's Day 2014'.She's the one that makes breakfast for our three hungry grandkids.One of them does not like the store bought ones because they are too crunchy for her.She even removes her bread crust for the same reason.Now mommy can make her three animal waffles lightly browned just like she wants.The other two love em anyway,except over done.Great with blueberry batter,blueberry,strawberry syrups!Our 29yr old daughter gives the Waffle Zoo Maker a 5-star rating,and said that her kids absolutely loved what it makes!!Works Great!!

The grandchildren love the animal shapes. The waffle iron cleans easily and works well. I enjoy having something different as well.

Worst waffle maker ever. Plates are screwed on with stuff screwed on their backs to make them impossible to remove to clean easily. Who knows when the inevitable water damage will set in? The legs are so skinny that batter never flows well into them, thus scrappy animal shapes. Those same cracks and crevices exacerbate the cleaning problem. Plan on using spray Pam on every set of waffles because the non stick sutface sticks like glue. Dont waste your money. If I could give it negative stars I would.

Worked great for aboutn2 months then horrible. Sticks no matter what I do! Tried again about 5 minutes ago......very sad kids...

I mean it works well on specific waffle mixes, but it's sold for $15 at CVS. This is a total rip-off.

This waffle maker gets all the points for creativity. Our kids (4 yrs) love the animal shapes and each declared one their favorite. The animal shapes are adorable and robust enough to actually make it to the plate(s).Preparing waffles isn't the hardest thing in the world, but the anti-stick surface of the plates helped greatly in the beginning but seem to get less effective over time. Nevertheless, heat is distributed evenly. Depending on the size of your audience, getting a zoo prepared takes a bit of time as the small plates hold only 3 animals at a time.The biggest drawback, however, might be that the plates are not removable for cleaning, and obviously dipping the whole unit into water wouldn't be a smart idea.
