the only reason i am not giving all the stars is the final installation step of each piece. i'll get to that - first off - these are very pretty, shiny chrome - there were no scratches they are all minimal design and just all around nice. i havent installed the robe hook yet because i have re-paint the door but everything else is up. it's all easy enough - it even comes with a guide for the length on the towel bar. i didnt use that process - i've hung enough before that i get it, keep your leveler very close by - i recommend using it on every base - you'll be happier in the long run if the base is level, everything just works better when it's right. ok - you get the base installed and now it's time to actually attach the hardware - 1) be careful when taking it out the packaging. when i took the towel ring out, the small final step screw went flying, glad i saw it happen. all of the others were fully screwed in when i took them out, so just be careful in case. 2) the final step tiny screw at the bottom of the hardware has a hex on the end vs a flat head. now, it does come with a tiny allen wrench (4 of them in fact) in order to turn it but if you are installing this on a wall an allen wrench is kind of your enemy because you can't do full turns. and it's tiny - like so thin tiny. it's so dumb to complain about it but they are just really difficult to use. this was a first. i recommend making sure you have the tiny screw in as far as you can, while being able to still install, so that you have less tightening to do. and then, of course, my last one for the night, the inside of the screw must be slightly stripped because it's not letting me turn it all the way in - i tried with all 4 included wrenches in case they are just soft, but i am having no luck. i'm going to try with a pair of tweezers - it's in there enough that it's not loose, but i know it's not done - i must finish it. all in - i love the products and the look of them - but the tiny hex is just problematic enough to dock a star.

I added satin nickel fixtures to update my out-of-date bathrooms (the fixtures used in a new house were really out of date even when the house was built, builder must've had a warehouse full of 80's star pattern single handle shiny chrome. Ugh.) Satin is so much more stylish and looks clean and modern.So I updated the toilet roll holder, towel bar and ring. These look very updated. The towel ring is actually a rounded hook (open ended ring) and that's no problem in fact, it is easier to put on a folded hand towel, sliding it over the hook.I've always like the hook style toilet paper holder, none of that fussing with a spring-loaded roll core and you get less of the "there's one shred the size of a postage stamp left on the cardboard so I don't have to change it, do I! " nonsense. Just slide the new roll over the hook. You still can battle over the "over or under" controversy, so don't despair, there's always a source of a squabble to be had.One bad thing, my new dog LOVES toilet paper and it's quite easy to get off the hook. He developed this mania during COVID...when there was a shortage. How did he know it was the ONE thing he should not touch and therefore it was irresistible? Oddly, when the shortage eased, his interest in it also faded. Bizarre. But pets do mess with the hook so if you have a naughty one, keep the door closed or look at something more rugged.

I got these for my bathroom to keep up with the industrial style in my home. These were exactly what I expected for the price. The matte black is true to the color shown in the pictures.These are sturdy but not so heavy that you can't install each item on your own. The directions were clear and I was able to install these on my own...no problem...even though I have no experience with this kind of thing!My experience with Franklin Brass is that they always have high quality products. The matte black finish is smooth and appealing to the eye. It is also very easy to match. I recommend for your next bathroom update!

Franklin Brass is one of my favorite brands for pulls and knobs, so I was excited to try these out. It was immediately apparent that they were the budget line, with thinner metal and a more basic finish. Still, they look great, with designs and quality that exceed other full sets in this price range. The tube-like shapes here work well with most styles, but particularly modern industrial. I like the matte black finish in particular. The function of all the pieces is high, though the toiler paper holder is the hook style. I think the clever spring design of the American style is superior in terms of function and appearance (on a nice line of fixtures). Still, the hook works well enough. If the toilet paper and towel hooks were thicker, fitting the towel bar gauge, the set might look more high end.Overall, a good way to upgrade the whole bathroom without spending a lot.
