I was so surprised when I got stopped by TSA for having "weapons" in my bag! It took 2 supervisors to let me pass with my hair sticks in my bag. Other than that silliness, however, I have enjoyed my purchase and think they are beautiful. They are long enough to pass through my medium thick hair, even when fairly damp, and hold pretty well through the day.

Elegant and beautiful. I always get compliments on them. They're simple with a hint of a few cute designs. I absolutely love them.

I gave it a 4 because the quality is great, but the pics are deceiving. A few of them are smaller than they are shown in the picture. As if they took a pic of them separately, then added them later.

Worth every penny, for how many you get. The design for the details is very crisp and neat. I enjoyed the option if I wanted to use the same ones or mix and match for my hair design I could. Held the hoop and braids in place, with no bending to the pins like I feared. Would buy again in other metal types.

These are very attractive and appear to be sturdy. They don’t bend at all when I place them in my hair. Depending on the length, thickness and texture of your hair, you may be able to use one hair stick solo for your updo, but I am not. My hair is waist length and fairly thick so a single hair stick won’t reliably hold all of my hair, but that’s to be expected. I always use a few extra hair pins to keep my updos in place and in no way am I disappointed with these for needing a few bobby pins on the side. In general, I use hair sticks as an accent vs a means of securing my hair. I wouldn’t expect most hair sticks to be sufficient as solo accessories. Note that the length of the sticks varies a bit so you might find some better for certain dos than others. In any case, I think they’re very attractive and I’m pleased with my purchase.

Although the hair forks or pins are well made, they are not pretty as the picture.

I absolutely love these hair pins. They are not too heavy, but made of a nice weight metal. Smooth and easy to slide in to my bun and keep my hair up. The designs are gorgeous. There are many different styles. I love the two prong ones best.

These brass hair sticks are so beautiful to look at and are easily used as they are made well with all smooth edges. Each set has a unique design giving individuals plenty of options to wear and or as I did, give as gifts.
