Hoppe's No. 9 Lubricating Oil

Works very well. Easy to use. Not very greasy and no leakage from the bottle. Wide use of this gun oil very versatile I use it on guns,knives, even swords and strangely enough stuck locks and hinges.

I had been using a bottle of glycerin-based lubricant that was originally meant for competitive yo-yo enthusiasts but is nearing its end after 20 years. This stuff is very similar. There are lubricants for metal-on-metal machines, plastic-on-plastic, etc. When you need to lubricate moving parts that have both metal AND plastic composites, this is the sort of lubricant that you need. The price is very fair, the bottle is equipped with a very robust needle and cap, and is small enough to bring with you to the range or to a photo shoot. I personally use this sort of oil to keep lenses working smoothly and for applications where a non-toxic oil is preferred over lithium or petroleum grease. Oh, and it does not smell and is easy to clean up if you spill some.

It’s worth it to bite the bullet and buy the bottle. Then the larger refill later on. Very high quality bottle, needle tip and rubber stopper. The oil itself is high quality. I use it on my knives and multitools among other things.

I’ve been using Hoppe’s No. 9 Lubricating Oil for a while, and it’s honestly one of those products you don’t think about until you really need it. It goes on smooth, doesn’t feel sticky, and really keeps my firearms running well. I like that it protects against rust and makes everything feel smoother when I use it. The bottle is easy to handle, and you don’t need much at all, so it lasts a long time. It’s simple, effective, and reliable—exactly what you want from a good gun oil. Definitely one I’ll keep buying.

I was recommended this for a folding knife. It came with an excellent needle top that has perfect flow and is capable of getting in to small areas without flooding the outside area. Using normal oil bottles I always get oil where I don't want it. I oiled all my knives and a bb gun and there is still plenty of oil. Value is great if you have a lot of items to oil but still a good deal for me

Funciona excelente tanto para dar mantenimiento preventivo, así como también re acondicionar mecanismos con piezas metálicas (como navajas) en mal estado. Lo he utilizado tanto en navajas suizas como con navajas de alta gama. 100% recomendable.

Ya conozco el producto por llevar utilizándolo varios años. Buena viscosidad, suaviza cualquier tipo de movimientos entre metales. El fabricante conoce bien su oficio.
