If you have demodex this stuff works! and not just on your eye lashes!
After a lifetime of great skin, my face has been ravaged for the last couple of years out of the blue with no dermatologists able to explain why and only "solve" with steroid cream.... and it never solved but just came raging back.A couple of months ago my eyes starting just endlessly tearing and itching (I have no allergies) and a friend said they were experiencing the same thing.... their eye doctor said it was demodex mites at their eye lashes and prescribed some insanely expensive medication that actually hurt their eye sight (!!!)I decided to take a look here and found this product to try as an eye lash wash and see if this solved my personal issue.Lo and behold it did! Not only did my eyes stop endlessly watering and itching, BUT I decided to try it as a face wash.At first it seemed harsh (but my face was ravaged raw anyway!) and it dried up my skin, but I could see a difference in days!I can report that after 4 weeks of faithfully washing my face in the morning and before bed with 2 pumps of this, has COMPLETELY cleared my entire face of all traces of the devastation that was going on.And BTW you don't need much - I still have half a bottle left.I only wish they sold this in a larger size!Good luck everyone!

Wonderful eyelid cleaner
This Oust Demodex eyelid cleaner was recommended to me by my ophthalmologist. It works very well, and has reduced the itchy feeling on my eyelids. It's a great product!

Great Product - cleared up the demodex
My ophthalmologist recommended this product for the demodex condition on my eyelids. With regular use twice a day for 8 weeks, it cleared it up. I have continued using it once a day as a maintenance program to prevent its recurrence. The active ingredient in this product that targets demodex is tea tree oil, but if it gets in the eye it can sting pretty badly. So you need to rinse the eyelids very well with warm water when washing it off.

Immediate relief for sandpaper eyes with demodex
Ok, so I will try to remember and update this review in a bit. But I’ve got demodex, didn’t know what it was but my symptoms seem to be pretty clear. I got the cleanser and used it today and I am just so grateful for the immediate relief I have in my eyes and surrounding areas. The irritation has been enormous and feels like sandpiper in my eyes at times.I have a appt with an ophthalmologist in two days but am very thankful that this can help in the interim until I’m seen by a professional. To clarify - I would have gotten this earlier but thought I was just having severe allergies for the part few months. But they have recently gotten so bad and are not treatable with any form of allergy med.Really hopeful that this can be a continued part of my treatment plan till it resolvesEDIT - went to ophthalmologist- I have conjunctivitis- bacterial so not pink eye. I am now on antiobiotic meds. However this wash gives me a lot of much needed comfort.

Non-irritating & Soothing cleanser
This has brought relief. My eyelids and lashes get a thorough cleansing with no irritation or burning whatsoever.I had cataract surgery 6 months ago and was prescribed steroid drops for 2 weeks after the procedure. Initially, I had minimal issues with irritation, dry feeling or redness. Same experience after the procedure was completed on the 2nd eye.Approximately a month after the 2nd procedure, both eyes, but especially the right one, were no longer white (slight redness), were irritated and felt dry and scratchy. I began using the Systane eye drops that I had been given at the time of surgery but, in short order, I made an appointment with the ophthalmologist. He put me back on a reduced frequency of the steroid drops for a short time period and during the follow up(s) recommended that I continue using Systane to relieve the dry, itchy, irritating sensation.I “did“ the Systane for a month or so but noticed my eyelids were slightly more “crusty” in the morning than I had ever experienced. Then a major redness (in both eyes) hit. It was so bad that I thought that I had pink eye.Back to the ophthalmologist, (No, I haven’t changed shampoo or laundry detergent; Yes, I still work in a clean room, environmentally controlled lab; No, I don’t have any new workplace exposures) back on the steroid drops and still needing Systane (several times/day) to temporarily relieve the dry scratchy feeling.Little did I know that statistically over 30% of all cataract surgery patients experience the same irritation and dryness issues that I did. Most, like my mother-in-law, simply rely on eye drops for relief - in my mother-in-laws case - 4 times per day for over 2 years since her surgery. The relief for me has been a combination of incorporating the Bruder eye heat pad (w/hygienic eyelid sheets) and the OCuSOFT Oust Demodex cleanser. The improvement in my eye discomfort level was almost immediate. In the 2 weeks that I have used this combo I have used ZERO eye drops.I specifically chose the OCuSOFT Oust Demodex cleanser because an ophthalmologist stated in his review that it was “tolerated” by virtually all of his patients for daily use.Did I have Demodex mites or clogged eyelid oil glands or just getting old? I don’t know, but the Bruder heat combined with the the OCuSOFT Oust Demodex cleanser (Tulip Oil) worked for me without any discomfort. Totally Satisfied!

It's alright but stinks 2 high heaven
I mean it does kill some of the mites,i can tell cuz I'm getting less of those little bumps that they give you. But it STINKS IT SMELLS LIKE MOLD. I hate using it and also it lasted probably one month tops. Another brand I was using would last 2 months,I think because this is a foam as opposed to a gel. Anyway it's an ok product. These demodex washes always give me styes on my eyes because of the tea tree oil but I will say this wash gives me less than the other 2 I have tried. I probably get one style a week or every 2 weeks as opposed to every couple days.
