This has all kinds of cool stuff!
I chose this over the expansion, because I like the base game and this doesn't add any new mechanics or make the game harder or different. It just adds a whole bunch of goodies. I'm glad I chose this over the expansion.

Overpriced updates
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have the base game.This item is very overpriced. A few cards and some plastic pieces. Not worth the price by a mile.

Some great ideas, some downright goofy ones...
It's a box full of great, goofy, and a few downright silly ideas (Gamer character? WTF?). All in all, though, if you can get it on sale it's quite a nifty little add-on to the base Robinson Crusoe game adding replayability to almost every element. Most appreciated are modular ways to make this or that scenario a half-step easier if you're having trouble...

Not a must have, just a nice to have
Robinson Crusoe is a splendid time tested game. The Treasure Chest is not a must have purchase for the game. Read carefully what it contains and watch some Youtube reviews. I do not regret purchasing, and it was a good deal at the price offered, hence my purchase. I cannot wait for the Collector's edition to come out of crowdfunding (soon!) and get to retail.

Great Game, New Adventures
Love Robinson Crusoe. I've had the base game for a few years now. This is a complete set of the promos that have been released for the game up to 2020. I go nuts trying to collect all of the promos for many of my board games, and some you simply can't get at the source and end up going to aftermarket sources and paying too much for them. Very nice to get these all in a single retail box. Four new scenarios in the box as well. A great addition to a great game!

Box damaged
Really excited for this, but my box arrived damaged. However, thankfully there were no issue with the components in the box.
