i find it very functional. just be careful on granite counter tops. it may break easily if set down firmly.

This is a sturdy glass pitcher with a well functioning lid. The neck opening is too small for a hand to clean inside but is okay for a brush on a handle to wash by hand. The pitcher's glass handle is strong and attached well but is large and takes up room in the fridge. There is a rubber type ring to stretch onto the bottom of the pitcher to protect it which is very good. It is supposed to be ok for hot or cold liquids but I've only done cold liquids. I am more than pleased with the quality and size of this pitcher. I can recommend a purchase. I looked at many many other pitchers on Amazon and this is the best one to use instead of plastic ones to avoid the micro and nano plastic particles given off by plastics.

1) Arrived broken. Piece of glass was missing from the pitcher, and the missing piece was not in the bubble wrap bag or the box that the pitcher arrived in. I'm guessing it was a broken item that was returned & restocked.2) The box it arrives in confirms that it was supposed to contain a 105 ounce pitcher. The packing foam perfectly fits the box and the pitcher, indicating that this should be the 105 ounce pitcher I ordered. Unfortunately, the pitcher is -identical- in size and shape to a 68 ounce pitcher I already own. I know the 68 ounce one hold 68 ounces, which means that it is impossible for this supposed 105 oz version can hold 105 ounces of liquid.3) The glass on this is super thin. Comparing to the pitcher I already own the glass is about half the thickness. Considering it has a roughly circular patch of glass missing from the bottom near the bottom I suspect that it is thing enough that, if it were not already broken, it would easily break during normal usage.4) The stated dimensions for the 105 oz model (9.65 inch height x 6.3 inch diameter bottom) are effectively the same as my current 68 oz pitcher, further indicating that this product's volumetric capacity is being flat out falsely advertised.Ordinarily I would simply order a replacement since this one arrived broken, but this time I'm simply returning it. The fact that the glass is so thin that it is an accident waiting to happen, coupled with the fact it in no way can hold what it says it can, means I'm not even going to try. Heck, I'm not even sure if this one is actually borosilicate glass (my current one definitely is). The product already incorrectly states the volume, and it is significantly thinner rather than "thicker than other brands in the market" as stated in the product information. I simply don't trust the vendor, currently Abdobar, to deliver a product that holds the correct volume AND is actually safe for long term use.

This is the second one because the first cracked. These are very light weight and thin. Be careful not to hit or bang in the sink. I do like the size to fit in the fridge and it is the right size for making morning juices from concentrates.

I love the pitcher, but it came without the lid. I don't want to return it. I would just like Abdodar to send us the lid. Since I don't have the lid I can't assess whether the pitcher is leak proof. I would probably give a much higher overall rating if we got the lid!UPDATE: After posting my first review, Abdodar contacted me and sent me a new pitcher with the lid. Now the pitcher is perfect. This is the right size for us. It is attractive and the lid fits snugly. It is also lightweight, which makes it easy to handle when it's full. Very happy with it. 5 stars now

Loved the pitcher for 3 months. Loved the size and quality, but whatever you do, do not even gently tap it on a hard surface. It cracked immediately and could no longer be used. Will be looking for a sturdier glass pitcher.

Bought for our grandson and his wife as a housewarming gift. They loved it!
