A MUST for garlic lovers!
I've been the delighted user of a similar but more expensive garlic peeler for several years. For me it's an essential kitchen gadget since it very effectively, easily, and quickly peels those hard-to-peel cloves, large or small. I love giving my two grown daughters practical kitchen gadgets, and take pride that they always find my gifts their favorites, too. I just purchased a 2-pack Modfacture Garlic Peeler, hoping this less expensive brand would work as effectively as my old one. I'm excited to say that YES, the Modfacture works just as easily and wonderfully as mine, so this means I found another winner gift for my daughters! This really is an invaluable tool for garlic lovers. It also makes a perfect gift add-on with a good garlic press.

Makes peeling garlic easy
This tool is wonderful. When peeling by hand, it takes a minute or two to peel each clove of garlic. When using this tool, each clove can be peeled in only a few seconds.The tool isn't perfect, of course. Some cloves will still give you quite a difficult time with its skin. Often I find that I have to partially crush the clove in order for the skin to come apart. Despite these issues, using this tool makes every clove of garlic easier to peel regardless of the clove's quality.I wouldn't cook again without this tool.

Fantastic! This thing is great
Fantastic!This thing is great! I like to cook and I use a lot of garlic.This thing gets the skin off so fast & saves a lot of time and frustration. I love it! I got one for my sister & my girlfriend for Christmas and I haven't heard yet, but I know they will both love them too. You will be very happy with this peeler. I don't do many reviews, but this thing is so good I had to let it be known. GARLIC ON!!!

Wanted it to peel...
I want to love this garlic peeler but... it didn't peel the clove. I ended up having to use the old method, which is fast, but I liked the idea of this roller. The clove I had was relatively flat so as I rolled the peeler, it just flipped the garlic inside of it instead of removing the outer layer. Maybe it will work better with more round cloves. The inside grooves are good and catch the garlic well. So, three stars for the idea factor, construction, and being BPA-free.

These are likely just a flaw in manufacturing but makes the peeler look like it's not completely clean
This garlic peeler is the size I expected and will do the job. I rated it lower than I would otherwise have because it has two bright pink blotches of color in the silicone instead of being a solid blue. These are likely just a flaw in manufacturing but makes the peeler look like it's not completely clean. It's also made with a slightly thinner material than my previous peeler so it doesn't roll as nicely.

Overall, good toy
It works well for some garlic cloves but not all. I would say about 70% of garlic cloves I use would be peeled by this toy. It's still better and faster than peeling them by your hands. Also, it doesn't peel when it's wet.

A really great product.
I really love this peeler. I know how to peel garlic but love that I get intact cloves for when I don't want to mash them. Its even nice to slice them in that state. I have some small scallions and I might give the garlic peeler a try. Very satisfied.

Fun little kitchen gadget
Tried this at a friend's house and it worked. Used it at Christmas time and it does work pretty well. Can't totally avoid garlic smell on my hands but just kind of fun
