Worked amazing and great replacement.
2011 F-150 XLT 4x4 5.0. Only took about 5 seconds to program with included dongle. Worked great and it is nice to have power steering back again. Saved me a trip to the dealer and a quoted repair of $3,500. **No core charge.**

Do your research and double check fitment
This product is good , unfortunately it does not work on all F150. make sure you do your research. Some F150 models with the max tow and load leveling feature require a different rack. Some are 3.25 turns to center, and some are 3.75 Make sure you know what you have.

Good Luck getting Core Return and Warranty Registration
Product seems to work great. The rest of the process was awful and Amazon wont let me post my experience. Update 3/24/2025- This unit failed completely now. Compounded by the fact I couldnt send in my core for refund or register this thing for a warranty. I will never buy Dorman products on Amazon again. I wish I could leave no stars!

POWERSTEERING GOES OUT THIS GOES IN!!
If your power steering assist lights going off and your wheel wont even budge this is most likely the culprit. This is a quality part and I wouldn’t recommend buying a remanufactured one to replace. It’s also comes with the programmer so you don’t have to pay to have it programmed to your truck. Very satisfied! Working on the core charge now. 5 stars!!

Core charge problem from manufacturer
The part fit perfectly. The manual is great and easy to follow. The programming tool set the center after I had it aligned with no errors. The problem is the manufacturer handling of the core. The web page does not work correctly you are unable to get the return to work. If you call Amazon they tell to to talk to Dorman. If you call Dorman they have you call their 3rd party core handling center. I paid nearly $200 out of pocket shipping cost to send the core back to Dorman. Dorman received it over 2 months ago. The company supposedly has a shipping reimbursement check and core refund but keeps giving excuses about getting the rebate finished. The rebate page indicated a 1 month turnaround on the reimbursement. Had I known Dorman was not a reputable company I would have never bothered to buy the rack from them and would have gone to the competition. As this stands I will probably have to waste my time in small claims court to get my money back.
