I had a problem: the internal sound card on the laptop (windows 7) stopped working properly. I needed a way of getting sound in and out of the laptop. What's worse I needed to use it with both standard ear phones and a rode go lavalier microphone. I got this with low expectations. We're all aware of the lower quality items that sneak into marketplace... However I was pleasantly surprised. It came in a nice looking little card pouch, so no plastic waste. Then when I plugged it into the laptop it took about 3 seconds and then suddenly I had a new audio device. Then came the moment of reckoning, I plugged in my rode go, and hit record. The quality is actually really quite good, this little device actually has a passable AF inside it! I wouldn't say it was audiophile quality, but on recordings with the mike it presented clear audio. Next I hooked up a rode sc6 splitter and a rode extension cable and some triple driver iem's... Amazingly, the laptop just carried on producing good quality sound in the headphones, and enabling talk back showed that the device was really coping nicely with bidirectional audio. Using it with Skype has been pretty flawless. People say the audio is clear and I can hear them very well too. I have it set up as my default communication device. All in all I'm very impressed. Works fine, even with premium quality kit, and holds its own against the internal audio of the laptop. A great purchase. The colour is lovely too...

Nice quality adapter. I bought this as a replacement for use with my headset (with microphone) and PC. Windows recognised it instantly. No performance issues whatsoever. I have have to plug and unplug my headset several times a day and I think that fabric covered cables such as this are the way to go as opposed to rubber coated cables which in my experience tend to perish after a few years.

Having recently got a 2nd hand home audio system speaker (not bluetooth) but finding I needed specific leads to connect to devices , I found that on my PS4 I needed a particular lead to connect to the speaker , didnt know if one existed but hey , I found it here and bought one. It arrived quickly and fits USB to Audio perfectly , I actually used it on two different devices and its just so simple and easy to use, and it was stupidly cheap to buy so if you need a nice good quality usb to audio lead , go for this because it does the job perfectly.

I'm using this USB jack soundcard for Zoom calls, as my laptop mic is excellent for transmitting keyboard clicks but truly awful for voice. The built-in mic on my stand-alone video camera is dreadful too, and I want a single setup using Apple earbuds for both my iPhone and the laptop apps. And guess what, this excellent little sound card works with Apple earbuds; both headphone output and microphone input. The volume control and mute buttons on the right earbud don't work (I suspect Apple uses some non-standard approach), but this is a minor irritation and doesn't lessen the otherwise excellent performance of the device. Plugged it in, and it was up & running in a couple of seconds. Output sound quality is very good, and the mic quality good (some light background hiss is apparent using voice recorder, but Zoom seems to clean the signal up quite well). Recommended.

Great cheap product. Just plug in and it will be recognised on pc. Works with headsets as well so both audio and microphone work. Great product.
