Prima Front Rack (Chrome); Buddy

Arrived well before the estimated delivery date (thank you, Amazon)!. The lower mount holes didn't match the holes on my motor scooter, but is easily fixed with a mounting bracket and a few bits of hardware. I don't expect to carry a 50 lb sack of potatoes, but should be fine to carry a small tent and other camping equipment or other such gear.

This is a nice heavy duty chrome folding rack. It's heavier than I expected. Once mounted it feels solid, not like it's going to bounce around and rattle. Installation was easy thanks to the template on the back of the scooter's front panel. BTW, this panel is referred to by Buddy as the windshield. Just a couple of small holes with a cordless drill and it's ready to mount. The method of keeping the rack in the down position for loading a bag of groceries is lost on me ( and many bloggers) as mine didn't come with directions but I found (like other bloggers did) using a decent length of Velcro tie downs works really well and doesn't scratch the chrome. You can buy them pretty much anywhere for managing electrical cables and cords coming from your entertainment system, etc. I'd also invest in some rubber tie down straps or bungees to secure whatever you carry on the rack. Time will tell how well this holds up in Cleveland weather so I suggest a coat of car wax and otherwise keeping it dry. The shiny chrome really complements the classic look of my scooter and will surely trigger my OCD in keeping it shiny, ha ha. Not only did this rack provide the obvious extra storage but it also serves as a way to mount lights on my scooter so I'm happy with that added feature.

I love my Prima Front Rack. It was easy to install and it looks great. I have used it many times for small packages.

This is a very well made and sturdy front rack. It comes in handy for hauling all kinds of things. I think it looks good as well.

This is a must if you're a scooter only person and need all the storage you can get. I bought two of these for each Buddy I have.
