Does NOT fit Asus ROG gaming 17" laptop. Had to return the item. If it is only intended to fit standard slimline 17-inch laptops, the item description should state so accordingly.

Mediocre Laptop Sleeve
Average neoprene sleeve for my 17.3" HP Omen laptop. There is a seam on the inside which helps protect the laptop corners from rubbing directly against the zipper, which is a nice feature and the fit of the sleeve is perfect for my laptop size, with no excess movement--fits like a glove. However, the neoprene of this sleeve is very thin and not exceedingly protective. If you are using this as an extra layer of protection when inside another bag, this will be perfect. If you are using this as your only protection for your laptop, you will be in a world of trouble.

This Laptop Sleeve is perfect for my Dell Inspiron 11 3168
This Laptop Sleeve is perfect for my Dell Inspiron 11 3168 (3000 series) in every way !! It is exactly what I wanted: Inexpensive; Great looking; very protective; and perfect fit - not to loose not too tight !!I considered this model Case Logic LAPS-111 11-11.6" - and the other similar model - the Case Logic ELS-111 11". When you look at the product info page at Amazon for the Case Logic ELS-111; it says this unit is sligtly larger than the LAPS (even tho the name suggests it is a bit smaller). It also says in the comparison matrix on that page that the "Enclosure Material" for the LAPS-111 is PLASTIC - while the enclosure material for the ELS-111 version was canvas !! THIS IS INCORRECT. The LAPS model has the same soft foamy / canvas type material inside and out !! It almost swayed me to get the ELS version - but the reviews for LAPS model indicated a better fit for my laptop - so I went with it. I'm glad I did !!In summary - my Dell Inspirion 3168 outer dimensions are W: 11.5" H: 8" Depth: 7/8". And this case fits perfectly. Mine did come with a foam insert which you could insert with the Laptop to snug up the fit (as suggested by some reviewers) but I don't see the need !!!

Good fit for Thinkpad W520/530/540; Almost nonexistent padding
Pro: Fits Lenovo Thinkpad W520, W530, W540 portable workstation laptos.Con: Inadequate padding. The W520/30/40 resembles other Thinkpads of the period, but is thicker to accommodate a larger cooling system. The many sleeves that claim compatibility with 15.6" laptops do not fit this series. This one does. The looseness of the fit that other purchasers complain about is beneficial. It fits a W520 not tightly, not loosely, but just Goldilocks in between.Unfortunately, the padding is much worse (thin or nonexistent) than that of many of the cases that do not fit. "Memory foam" is at the top of shock protection. EVA is next. Neoprene is at the bottom, and heavier. I think this one is EVA, but it is so thin, with so many gaps, damage is almost guaranteed. The foam is continuous across the bottom, but the bottom edges, the most vulnerable points, are completely left out. The sides are left out too. In these areas, the foam is replaced by a strong but incompressible fabric. Perhaps this was done to increase resistance to tearing. The zipper area is, of course, completely unprotected. My standard is that with the sleeve placed in a lightweight bag, such as a Targus nylon "messenger", it must protect against a drop from shoulder height. This one will not. I have actually found very few sleeves that will. Even the fancy South Korean memory foam sleeves/bags deliberately leave out or provide extremely minimal edge panning. This is cynicism in the extreme. You drop it, you lose it.

Much too big for a 2015 13" MacBook Pro Retina
Love the color, love the materials. Nice matching zipper pull. This gets it 3 stars.... but ....As other reviewers have stated, it is about an inch too long and a half inch too wide for a 2015 13" MacBook Pro Retina. I might have been kind of OK with this if it came with the extra foam padding inside as one of the other reviewers posted a photo of... but mine did not. And anyway I really wanted a more form-fitting case so that it would take the least room out of my bag.Should have listened to the other reviewers ;-(

It's really not great protection, though
This is adequate if you just want a slight bit of extra padding, or if you mainly want to keep scratches off of the surface of a device. It's really not great protection, though, and the material feels really cheap and sort of unpleasant in my hands. That was a surprise, because I've gotten stuff from Case Logic in the past that was an absolutely fantastic value for the money spent.I thought this would probably be fine because I was looking for a slight bit of extra protection for a laptop that was going to be in a laptop backpack, but between not liking the feel and not liking the amount of padding (particularly around the zipper area), I ended up deciding to go back onto Amazon and order a different one (made for Alienware) that I decided felt better, had a nice accessory pocket on it, and has really nice handles stitched onto it well, and didn't end up costing me that much more money in the grand scheme of things.I still have this, and even though it's kind of oversized for the purpose I might toss a Chromebook into it or something sometimes to keep it from getting scratched by other stuff in my bag, but I'm not really comfortable relying on it as a truly protective sleeve.

Good product for a good price. Measurements...
I didn't give 4stars because "I like it" but I can't say that "I love it"! It doesn't mean that I don't think this is a good product, au contraire.I bought it for my Dell Inspiron 7537 just to protect it from dust and scratches, and I think it's fair to leave some figures (so difficult to find!) just to help some other buyer. My Dell 7537 is (37.8 x 25.4 x 2.2)cm: how does this sleeve fit? I would say that it fits perfectly my laptop in width (37.8cm), so If you have a 38.5/39cm laptop be prepared to "stretch" the zip a little bit but should still be ok: I wouldn't go more than 38.5cm anyway! As far as depth is concerned, there is definitely more space here (at least a couple of cm), so if you have a 27.5cm laptop it should do (with mine there are clearly 2+cm of internal space left). Same for height: it can accommodate a 3.5cm laptop easily, but I wouldn't put anything more than that.My old Asus M50Vn (a chunky 15.4-inch laptop) fits perfectly (37.4cmx26.5cmx3.5cm); for my 7537 this is not a perfect fit then...Internal measurements are (more or less):38cm x 27cm x 3cm (you can stretch a little bit though...)In the end this is more a functional sleeve than a "cool" or fashionable one. As already suggested, maybe a good internal protection in a larger carrying bag.Hope this can be helpful...

Not the best.
At the time of ordering (7 days ago) this case was on offer at only £9.99. Today's price is £26.99Case arrived within the expected timescale, even on a Public Holiday, despite Amazons sending an email saying that it would not be delivered at that day. It arrives with minimal packing but that was fine as it was delivered in a box with other items I ordered. Well, that's all the good points. The case just didn't meet my expectations. It feels awful, cheap and is quite rigit, a bit like thick cardboard, even though it is some type of foam material. I had checked dimensions carefully, but my laptop is a very tight fit in this case, to the point where it is difficult to insert and remove my laptop. I think the main reason is due to the thickness of my laptop, and maybe this case only being designed for more recently sold thinner laptops. The zip runs across the whole of the top, but only about 5 cm down each side. My previous case had a zip running the full length of two adjacent sides making it much easier to use.Overall, this is probably the worst laptop or tablet case I have ever bought and would not recommend it, not even at £9.99. Sorry, but that's my opinion.

IT IS A SOLID SLEEVE...
Purchased it for my brand new DELL INSPIRON 17 (3737). It is a 17.3 inch machine.I’ve looked online for a suitable sleeve for quite a bit. Most of the available products claiming to fit laptops “up to 17.3/17.4” are just...too big. Initially I wanted to buy the Belkin one...[http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-Neoprene-Sleeve-Upto-Laptops/dp/B000XHTE20/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top]...but after reading all the reviews and checking the measurements, I’ve decided it would be way too large for my (relatively) thin Inspiron. That’s what you people have to check before you go ahead and buy a sleeve that, yes, maybe looks great, but won’t suit the purpose of protecting your laptop. By “protecting”, I mean a snug fit. That’s what it should be. It should be tightly wrapping your machine from all sides. In case of the Inspiron 17 (3737), this particular sleeve is perfect length-wise...but a bit too big width-wise. So, there is maybe one, one and a half inches of room inside between the zipper and the machine. Not a big problem, mind you. The laptop isn’t loose but there is definitely enough room for it to slide backwards and forwards. You have to remember that most laptops these days are quite slim. The slimmer it is, the looser it will be inside...most sleeves on the market really. I guess the market hasn’t quite caught up with the slimming technology yet :-)For the new Dell Inspiron line owners, this sleeve should suffice. Dell sells their own sleeve for Inspirons but it only comes in one color – tan (as it stands right now – April 2014). It’s an ugly shade of brown that most people wouldn’t go for. If you own an all-black Inspiron 17 (3737), a light brown sleeve seems a little bit out of place. The CaseLogic sleeve I’m reviewing here is a well made product. Neat, simple and modest look, good quality, thick enough foam protection, some additional padding around the edges - the usual. It is a sleeve and, as such, its purpose is to shield your laptop from scratches and dust; to keep it clean and protected while travelling or out of use. It is not a shock absorbing Kevlar bullet-proof case you can use while reporting on military operations in Afghanistan :-DThe bottom line is – it’s well made, it looks and feels nice, and it will offer a tighter fit for 17.3 machines than other sleeves I found on Amazon and elsewhere. If you need something more, I suggest you buy a messenger bag. But then again, it’d be a bag, not a sleeve...

A very good protection case.
I bought this protection for my Dell M6800 which is a huge laptop, approx 4cm thick. It is impressive that my machine fits well inside, while it didn't fit in other 17" protections. The zipper closes nicely around, not touching the case of the laptop, therefore the laptop is perfectly protected. Inserting and taking out the laptop is done without any special effort and there is no "loose" feeling once the zipper is closed.Feeling is nice, is stiff, thick, it looks made of neoprene with the corners doubled with pieces of strap for extra durability.I use it in conjunction with a Case Logic backpack in which it fits perfectly.

The quality is incomparable to chinese brands
I had one for my former 13.3 laptop and used it for many years, very satisfied. So I bought this one for another laptop, I was pleased to see that the quality is still the same, it is very thick and hopefully absorbs more shocks than Chinese thin cases.Strongly recommend
