If you are going to spend the money to get an inflated price case, spend the extra $10 to get the leather version. Apple’s silicon version will break chunks of the finish off and then the damage will just slowly grow. These leather cases are much more durable and sure the leather will fray with drops but it won’t come off in chunks and the damage doesn’t just grow on it’s own. However, if you learn anything from me today, buy Spigen cases. Way better quality and much better price.

It looks very nice on the phone and it’s fully protected.

This is a nice looking and feeling case. It’s a bit pricey. The woman at the Apple Store said that all Apple cases were drop tested before being released. Maybe at four or five feet...? But I can’t see your phone surviving a big drop or hitting a metal bed frame since there’s no dip in the camera cutout. There’s minimal raisivity around the screen. But it feels SO NICE in my hands, and is soft and expensive-feeling, but also sleek and compact. Great for fitting into the back of your pocket, even though I never carry my phone in my back pocket since I don’t want to drop and bust it or lose it. I recommend. Doesn’t seem super durable but ya know, Apple is more about money than long-lasting. I’ve never cracked the screen or anything like that in all the phones I’ve owned, both Samsung and Apple, because I take good care of my property in everything I own. It’s a good value for money as long as your careful and mindful of the fact that you’re rocking a fifteen-hundred dollar phone.

Overall I think the product does a great job of protecting the iPhone. It gives it a touch of class and it feels good in the hand. It’s a genuine leather semi rigid case but it’s made in a way that it keeps the form factor very thin compared to other leather cases out there. You can clean and condition it with a leather conditioner and it brings it back to like new condition. When you put it on it does not appreciably increase the thickness of the phone. There’s also a raised lip around the camera area to protect the lenses. Once installed there is also a raised half millimeter lip all around the face surrounding the screen so if you place your phone facedown the screen does not touch the surface. The power and volume buttons work perfectly with no added resistance and there is a tiny cut out for the mute switch. The quality is unbelievable, typical of Apple. There is also an embossed Apple logo on the back of the case to remind you that this is the real deal. It fits snugly and while it may protect from minor drops and scratches, I don’t know how effective it would be if you drop the phone from waist level or even shoulder level and I am not trying this for obvious reasons. I’m not one who drops my phone but if you’re a person who drops the phone often maybe a more protective case like a Maus case or OtterBox is better suited for you. However if you are looking for a classy leather case for your iPhone, I don’t think there’s anything better out there in style and in keeping the thin iPhone form factor. I am very satisfied with it. If you buy one I think you will also be very satisfied.

The case looks and feels great! Only problem is durability. My phone slipped out of my hand, and landed on some concrete. The phone was perfectly fine, so that’s good, no complaints there, but the case is now scraped up and torn in a few places, due to the leather construction I assume, and it no longer looks as good as it did. Good case that will protect your phone, but if you drop your phone as much as I do, you might want to look at a different case, if appearance matters to you.

I read a number of negative reviews for this product which almost caused me to avoid this Apple product. But, took a chance on it as I knew I could return with Amazon if there was an issue. Very happy I gave it a shot. If you are in the market for a minimalist / high-end leather case with an excellent magnet, this is the case for you. Unlike others have reported, the genuine Apple iPhone 12 pro max case fits like a glove. There are complaints in the reviews about phones slipping out of this case. It would be impossible for my phone to slip out of this case (that is an initial impression - it is possible it will stretch over time. if so, I'll update the review). In addition to being "Apple" quality (high end product that "Feels" good in your hands) - the case has the absolute best Magsafe magnets. The magnets are at least twice as strong as the ones in the ESR leather case I purchased prior to getting the genuine Apple case. There are complaints about protection - so yeah, you need to put a ballistic glass screen protector on your phone. And no, this is not the case for you if you are prone to dropping your phone on to concrete from heights. There are better options out there for such use cases (see Lifeproof). But, if you are in the market for a high-end/luxury, leather, minimalist case that will protect you phone from scratches and some drop protection, with the best Magsafe magnets, then this is the case for you. - L

Es passiert ja doch hin und wieder mal. Unachtsam fällt das Handy runter, rutscht aus der Hand. Ich habe mittlerweile die dritte Hülle, und es ging auch immer nur die Hülle kaputt, nie das Handy. Robust, tolle Verarbeitung, liegt gut in der Hand und ist langlebig. Der Preis ist gerechtfertigt. Schade, dass sie aktuell nicht verfügbar ist.

A pesar de ser reacondicionada llego perfecta. La funda es totalmente nueva y la única marca estaba en una esquina de la caja pero es casi invisible. La calidad es Apple, es decir muy alta. Además esta funda viene de un color muy feo pero en un par de meses coge un color a cuero envejecido precioso. Únicamente hay que tener cuidado de no mojarla.

Cover veramente bella, lo stile Apple si vede subito, la pelle risulta morbida al tatto e di ottima finitura, i tasti a rilievo in materiale plastico sono molto sensibili, a volte anche troppo, rispetto ad altre cover in pelle non Apple dove i tasti sono ricoperti di pelle e la pressione a volte è un po’ problematica ma questo evita che si premano i tasti involontariamente. L’inserimento del telefono ed il suo disinserimento sono molto semplici e non occorre sforzarsi troppo. Ottima la protezione della parte inferiore. Il bordo a rilievo a protezione della fotocamera è sufficientemente rialzato da svolgere egregiamente la sua funzione. Il bordo a protezione dello schermo invece forse poteva essere un po’ più marcato, stilisticamente è bellissimo, ma spero che sia anche sufficiente in caso di caduta. In conclusione devo dire che si tratta di una bellissima cover, compatta e comoda, lo stile Apple si vede in ogni dettaglio. Se il prezzo non rappresenta un problema la consiglio vivamente.

Brilliant. And it fits perfectly, as it should, of course. The camera opening is very good: there is a very hard frame which means that when you put this down on a flat surface the lenses are held just away from the surface. That is excellent. I have this on my Pacific Blue and it looks lovely. It’s a really nice colour and feel, very sturdy. I have tried cheaper non-Apple varieties in the past. Now I only ever go with Apple, as the quality always seems superior. And the fit is better. The attention to detail makes this a winner, such as that hard frame around the lenses. It’s very good.
