RESTUBE Basic Inflatable Water Safety Device

I liked this product very much. I am planning to use it as an auxiliary item on trip to a beach resort. I am not confident on my swimming skills at all, and I bought this item to help me if I can't keep up with the activities. I tested the product in the local pool and it worked perfectly. It deployed within 5 secs. and it gave me enough buoyancy to float without any effort on my back. I am 6 foot and weight 260 lbs. And was able to keep me afloat. I continued to swim and it never got on my way. When I needed a break a just grabbed it back and was able to rest. I used it for an hour and didn't notice deflation.The only one problem I have with it was the little attachment use to deflate it came loose and sinked to the bottom of the pool and I had to dive in to retrieve it. Other than that this product worked perfectly and I am buying another one for my wife.

This is perfect for paddlesurfing. Sometimes you want something, but not a PFD. There are times when your leash breaks and you find yourself in the surf with a paddle and the prospect of backstroking all the way in. What's nice about this item is that it uses an ordinary C02 cartridge that you can find in Walmart.Note: 3 years later, I found out today that the CO2 trigger was not functioning...not sure how long this has been the case, but bottom line...check it out from time to time and don't 100% depend that it will always inflate..I do not think I can fix this one, but I will probably have to keep some extra cartridges around and test it frequently before I can count on it being worth wearing in a surf session again..

Schwimme Normal mit einer Oberflächeboje um gut sichtbar zu sein aber zusätzlich die Resttube noch dabei zu haben Schaft ein Gefühl der Sicherheit das egal wie man sich verausgabt Auftrieb ist da. Nutze sie auch beim SUPen an meiner Hüftleash wenn ich auf der Ruhr bin. Auch sagen muss ich das Wechsel der Patrone ist Easy und Patronen sind relativ Preiswert. Tragen tut die Resttube ist Easy und hält ob am Neo oder an der Leash. Ich habe mir das Produkt zugelegt, weil ich im Alter gerne mal einen Krampf bekomme ich aber gerne mal weiter raus schwimmen möchte. Ich habe den Restube auch einmal ausgelöst, weil ich wissen wollte wie das vor sich geht. Ich bin sehr zufrieden, das gibt mir jetzt wieder Sicherheit. Das zusammenlegen ist etwas fummelig dennoch aber gut machbar. Für meinen Sohn, der etwas unsicher ist werde ich das Ding auch anschaffen. Dann können wir beide weiter raus schwimmen.

Das Teil ist wirklich einfach und gut. An der Hüfte beim Schwimmen montiert stört es überhaupt nicht. Habe zum ausprobieren die rote Leine gezogen und die Schwimmhilfe hat sich innerhalb kürzester Zeit stabil aufgeblasen, absolut super. Auch das Zusammenlegen nach dem Einsatz oder das Wechseln der Patrone ist wirklich absolut einfach und schnell möglich und gut erklärt. Klare Empfehlung wer zur persönlichen Sicherheit im Boot oder beim Schwimmen oder zu Rettung von Personen eine Hilfe dabei haben möchte.

Super funktional, leicht zu bedienen und wiederverwendbar.Da wir oft am Wasser unterwegs sind und auch meine große Tochter gerne schwimmt haben wir die Bojen gekauft. Diese ist meiner Tochter viel lieber als die Segelweste die sonst nutzen musste. Sie nimmt nicht viel Platz weg., stört nicht schwimmen. Einfach ideal auch beim SUP Boarden.Nach der Benutzung leicht zusammenlegbar. Die CO2 Patrone ist leicht ersetzbar und schon ist der Restube wieder eiinsatzbereit.

Sicherheit ist unverzichtbar. Kaum spürbar, wenn man es umgeschnallt hat und im Wasser fast ohne Gewicht. Würde ich jedem empfehlen, der in Seen weiter rausschwimmt. Anders als im Mittelmeer, kann man hier wirklich absaufen und einen Krampf infolge kalter Strömung kann jeder kriegen.
