The best apple slicer! It is so easy to use. The cutting ability is great and I love that you can pop the apple slices out by flipping them over. The 16 slices is a game changer for my kids. They are a great thickness and the apple slices go further.

I bought one for myself and one for my son. We both love how easily it cuts through the apple and the quality of it. Perfect size for pies and for a snack for my grandson (his son).

I love this. It really works to cut your apple & detach the pieces from the core. I bought a couple of 16-slice apple slicers elsewhere, but they didn't have the device on the bottom that pushes the apple away from the core, so they still remain attached at their base after you've slice the apple. I do wish the base piece was not attached to the slicer, as I have to dirty a cutting board to start slicing the apple, & then flip over the base to finish. If it were detached & just snapped in place on the bottom of the slicer (like a blade protector) it would not require using another item to partially slice the apple first. You could use the base as a cutting board. Usually I just slice apples for eating & I like the thinner slices. But this also comes in handy if you're making an apple pie, tart or slicing apples for apple bread. Simply peel the apple before starting. This helps to make slicing much quicker & it creates nice, even slices. I even use it for adding apple to my grilled cheese sandwiches. I'll make grilled cheese as I normally do, but add thin slices of apple on top of the cheese before grilling. The apple slices warm while cooking & it's a wonderful flavor combination. Also, the other two slicers I bough are quite a bit wider, by about an inch. Having a wider cutter would be helpful when slicing larger apples, so I'd suggest that the manufacturer enlarge the slicer, as well as detach the base from the slicer. It is a good price & it works well otherwise. I'd recommend this to others since it works so well. This could also work for pears.

I absolutely love this apple cutter. I used to have another one, but it cut the apples real big pieces.This one cuts it down smaller for my grandson. And it makes it so easy with the bottom portion that gets the bottom of the apple, all cut up. It's very comfortable and easy to use. It keeps the juices and stickiness away from it It's not very heavy, very easy to grip, and hold on too, as you cut down on the apple. It's the best bang for your buck. it's definitely my go too for apple's.

This works so well! Had to push a little harder on a tough skinned apple. Nice thin slices. A lot better than the old fashioned apple corer. Easy to grip. Pop-out flap really works.

Love this apple slicer! It cores and cuts an apple Into 16 thin, even slices in seconds. And it’s so easy to use. It’s perfect for slicing apples for my little grandson. Yes, I can use a knife to slice apples, but this does it so much faster. There are a few things to keep in mind when using this. Although it’s quite large, you do need to pay attention to the size of the apples when you’re shopping to make sure they’re not too big. Also, look for apples that aren’t lopsided. They won’t cut as nicely. When cutting, the big sturdy handles give it a solid grip. At first I wasn’t sure about the bottom plate, but it’s there to make it easier to cut all the way through the apple. Don’t get an apple slicer without it. Overall, I’m very happy with this slicer. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and a good value for the money.

I love this slicer. It is well designed, well made, blades are sharp, everything I can think of. It takes some force to start down through the apple, but I'm sure this is because there are twice as many blades as an 8-blade slicer, to cut through the apple. This is not a criticism, any 16-blade slicer would behave the same way. I have a spiral-cut apple peeler that I plan to use to slice bare apples, since I think the skin is the hardest part to cut through. The bottom 'slice popper' is a great idea to force the final 1/16" of cut to be clean and complete. Love it, would buy it again, or for gifts.

I'm relatively happy with this slicer It has a couple of downsides 1) The slicer takes up more space when slicing the apple as the solid plastic has to be extended 2) it's difficult to clean - I feel the slices are on the narrow side therefore making it difficult to remove any apple that may have got stuck in the blades

My go-to snack is apple slices and cubes of extra old cheddar. This contraption makes the prep easy. I love that it creates more, and thinner, slices than most apple slicers. I don't like no thick apple chunks, thanks.

This is simple and easy to use. No mess.
