Don't let the low price of this stereo put you off. It's packed with features and the sound quality is exceptional even at double the price. It comes with excellent fitting instructions filled with clear, colour photographs and links to their customer support should you encounter any difficulties. Once fitted it's a breeze to set up and has loads of features that enhance the whole user experience. Things like phone mirroring, 7 band eq, radio, Bluetooth music, video playback (while the vehicle is stationary) reversing camera (supplied) and the option to fit a front camera and amplifier. You can also install a custom boot screen by contacting their support team through Facebook. I did this and they responded quickly and emailed the file required directly to me, I saved it to a memory stick, popped it into the stereo and two minutes later I had the most up to date firmware and the boot logo of my choice. You may need additional adapters to fit your vehicle but that's standard and not a reflection of the stereo or PLZ. Overall I'm extremely happy with this purchase and recommend it to anyone considering buying it.

I was bought this as a present to upgrade my exiting stereo in my Vauxhall Vivaro van. It was 'fairly simple' to install, it did require a bit of thinking as to what I needed to make it fit. The van had a double din fascia with a storage space, so I had to order a new fascia panel to make this unit fit. I also had to order a 'connects 2' unit to make the steering wheel controls work. The sterring wheel controls on this vivaro model are digital signal so required the 'connects 2 unit'. Once I had this installed I was able to use the stereo to program the right steering input controls. I also had to order a connector cable to make the stereo harness work with the exiting vans wiring harness. Took a while to identify the correct cables to join. The stero looks loads better than my orignal unit. The sound is much better and it's easy to use. Bluetooth works brilliant at automatically pairing when I get in the van. The radio signal is also very good! It would have been nice to be able to use google maps with the phone link whilst being able to listen to music at the same time. Unfortunately you can only use one or the other at one time. It's a very good stereo for the price and I'm very happy with it!

Decent value for money and decent sound quality from this unit. It was a little wider than my old head unit so required countersinking the screw holes to get it to fit. I also wired their harness myself via the wiring diagram (you just have to ignore the one in the instruction book and use the one on the amazon images) Bluetooth is good and connects fast, although it loses all memory when the battery is disconnected which is a downside when you work on the car throughout the week. There's a big gap between the screen and the glass so I simply press a little lower than the button and it works most of the time. Bluetooth connects fast but only if you haven't disconnected the battery and thus has reset itself. Overall a good product for the money However, its a shame you have to contact them via Facebook where they make you write a review to get a software update. Would be easier if they just had a download link, and would save them time, and they'd get an extra star!

So it does the job. You will definitely have to wire this in yourself, so do not attempt this if you're in the least bit unsure. It has funny non standard mounting points, that do not even meet with a universal mounting cage. The detachable facia surround is NOT a standard size so you'll be ditching that. Thankfully the mount I bought separately has its own which thankfully fitted perfectly. I am fitting mine to a Ford Focus CC mk2 2008. You will need an after market wiring harness to help with wiring compatibility, which can be fiddly. It does come with a rear/reverse camera but be warned... you have to plug it into the FRONT camera port! Weird. And yep... the front camera goes into the rear port. Sigh. You will need to take the switching lead from the rear camera and splice it into the reverse light wire of you lights to make it work. Now, onto the features. The touch screen works well. easy to use function that are very self explanatory. Linking the phones is easy, via the onscreen instructions. The layout and onscreen graphics are a little behind in terms of refinement but this is NOT a £600+ brand name version. The phone BT connection is easy and works well. The phone mirroring is crap. It works... but its crap. You phone screen will be mirror in the orientation it's in, so think portrait or landscape. If you have a phone that support landscape then you'll have a better time of it. As for SatNav or GPS, yeah that is not included in the unit but you have to mirror your phones satnav instead! Pain in the ass. You can only mirror your phone via a USB connection. Even if you phone has remote/smart mirroring.. this unit does not support it. It has to be plugged in. Video quality is ok. not the best, but it good enough. It has trouble playing video from mirrored devices. It'll play on your phone, but not on the unit. I think video may need to be played via USB or something. sound quality. So far.. sound has been far better than I expected from a unit like this. Handles a good range of equaliser frequency. So: Ease of fitting 3/5 Connectivity 4/5 Styling 3/5 ease of use 4/5 sound quality 5/5 BT use 4/5 Mirroring 2/5 Overall rating 3.8/5 Additional as of 29/06/21: I had to return this unit today as within 2 weeks of fitting it's failed. The Bluetooth got worse and worse, and when it does eventually connect it has a 4 second drop out every 10 seconds. Useless. Also, the USB system has failed too. I thought it was USB drive at fault so I drive 4 other ones to check. It failed to work on them all. When it did read the USB drive it would play one track and then switch the unit off completely! What a pain in the ass! I paid £65 to have the unit professionally installed as I simply didn't have time, and now it's been removed and returned. Avoid this unit. It will let you down. I'm very disappointed at the complete waste of time this has ultimately led to.

Great unit at a great price! I now have two Automobiles with Android Auto like the new automobiles sold today. It works flawlessly and installation was not difficult for a do-it-yourselfer. Running the rear camera wire was the only part that could be challenging to some. You may need to add some length to the wire for some cars. If you have never touched a wire one a car or house, you probably want to ask someone that understands basic wiring to help you as you need to run the camera wire to its location and connect the wires appropriately to work when you put your car in reverse. The installation of the back camera does not require drilling or screws as the two-sided adhesion tape that comes with the unit is unbelievably strong and holds the camera securely in place. I bought a set of two 95mm, 3.74 inch wide Adhesive Dashboard Pad Mounting Disk with 3M VHB adhesive for each car as the ones that came with the unit did not stick securely to the truck dash as it is not perfectly smooth. The screen is incredible. You can use Google Maps or Waze. You can ask “Ok Google” questions while driving and it will answer your questions out loud without taking your eyes off the road. Front and back cameras are high definition and film in the background. I placed a 1 terabyte SD card into the Player for much more recording of video space. Back up camera really helps when backing up. I bought 2 of these PLZ Care Stereos, one for my 2006 Ford F350 Dually and one for my 2012 Kia Sorrento. The Ford back up camera is a life saver and makes backing up and hooking up to my 40’ Toy Hauler a breeze. No more guessing the alignment of my hitch. I placed the backup camera over the back window looking at the hitch and everything behind the truck. The installation of the back camera does not require drilling or screws as the two-sided adhesion tape that comes with the unit is unbelievably strong and holds the camera securely in place. It feels made out-of cheap materials. Does not give you the impression that it is a good product. I would rather pay more and get a band name instead.

When you initially look for items like this you become skeptical with every review saying they had issues and it's not worth it....so on and so forth. I bought this because I was living in the stone age with my 2005 Pontiac...it still had the original head unit in it and the illumination as each year passed was slowly burning out. I no longer use CD's and wanted a good decent upgrade but didn't want to break the bank doing it. It had to be something that I could install myself because I simply didn't have the means to pay an installer $150 for a radio that only cost $75-$80 Well I got it today and I installed it today....When I was done everything was working but no sound. I didn't panic I just did a little research and the answer that came up most was marrying the blue wires together...because the amp in certain cars needs a signal to turn on...well that was it and boy did it come to life!!! First and foremost....the sound quality is amazing...if you have good speakers in your car simply put its going to sound good...and it's plenty loud. everything on it works 100%...I'm not really interested in the backup camera so I put it away....If I ever decide to install it..it wont be difficult. You can have 3 FM presets worth of channels and they're easy to save. The bluetooth recognize my phone immediately and syncs to it before I even get a chance to start up my car. the EQ presets are good...but if you want to get the most out of it customize the highs, mids, and lows! I already emailed them for the boot up animation for my car and the upgrade and you just save that to a thumb drive and upload it to the unit and you get that factory feel to it. The screen is good color....not washed out and it's bright..so really no cons to my purchase as of yet. I mean I wired it and installed it in about 15 minutes in my car....it turned into over an hour because I ran into the issue with the amplifier. I even made a BT call to my wife and she said she could here me very clear and loud....so the mic is good on the unit too... Maybe some of the people that are trashing the unit just happened to get defective ones...that can happen with anything that you buy. Its only an $80 but I don't see why people are expecting it to perform as though it's a $300-$400 head unit? You can do mirror cast on it from your phone so you can use your GPS and it'll cast on the display. Good luck if you decide to buy one....Im extremely happy with mine and when I get the upgrade and boot logo it makes my car look and feel newer than it is.... UPDATE: 8/28/21 I received the update to the boot log and additional wallpapers. I uploaded a short video of one of the boot logos and the sound on the radio which is excellent. Customer service is stellar they respond to you within 12 hours since they're on the other side of the world and honestly I couldn't be happier with the stereo and their customer service was beyond excellent. I mean I got the update sent to me in roughly 6 hours.....If these guys make an updated version of this I'll definitely buy it without a second thought. Great overall experience.....

I will say for a 7 in screen it works really well, it does leave some thing to be desired. However ober it is a fantastic product for a on budget system. It works well with all phones and even has good adjustability for common systems. However, it lack some fine tuning abilities that my other radio system has. But the price difference does show in only that category. This radio has the support of many in the sense that it does a radio well, i find that the Bluetooth works well, BUT if you have the car on and your phone isn't connected immediately on start of the vehicle ot has a hard time pairing, so i eventually have to restart my car in this scenario. So overall 3 out 5 on Bluetooth, 4 out of 5 on smoothness and responsiveness of the device, 4 out of 5 on ease of install, 2 out of 5 on sound tuning, 4 out of 5 on looks. So 17/25 or 3/5

First off, this radio and Camera was easy to install. I just followed the wire instructions, called Axxess Metra tech support when I had some questions, then spliced the rear camera wires into my rear tail light and VOILA! Everything works great. The radio sounds awesome, my phone connected with no problem, and the phone-link program was easy peasy. The default logos and wallpaper are very tasteful, the user interface is user-friendly and easy to learn, and each button function is buttery smooth. This radio is a great deal for someone wanting to upgrade their old car radio to a newer double-din. I installed this radio in a 2004 Chevy Tahoe Z71. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Would give 6 stars if I could. GREAT JOB P.L.Z. Thank you for providing an excellent radio for the average consumer.
