This fan does its job perfectly.
I got this fan for a bathroom. The blade size is just right. It arrived quickly and was well-packaged. It installed easily; I followed the instructions, which were easy to read and understand. It's easy to use. The fan is quiet, but moves air well. There are six fan speeds; the fan is reversible if needed. The light has three color temperatures to suit your desires. It's been in use for over a month with no issues at all. It has been a great value purchase.

Functional and stylish
Really stylish ceiling fan switch. Three things make it a compelling reason to purchase it: 1) It is easily identified as the fan switch due to its fan picture on the switch. It is useful if you have dimmer switches next to it, so you and your guests don't have to guess which switch is a light or the fan. 2) The speeds are in order. The off position is at the lowest, and then each position increases fan speed Other switches have the off in the middle and then the low and high in different directions. 3) It functions as easy as it looks. This is my go-to switch for fans.

Good Quality Westinghouse Ceiling Fan Switch / Wall Control: 4 - Speeds
Easy Installation ... Replacing an Older Fan Switch. Was a bit dissatisfied with the 'numbering' of the Speed Control Slide Switch. '1' usually refers to the slower speed and I assumed '4' would be the fastest speed. This one is backwards ... but works GREAT ! I reversed the polarity of the wires ... still same results ! Oh, Well ! I generally leave the switch on one speed for a long time ... so this isn't too much of a nuisance. Internal wiring must be reversed. However ... It really does Perform Well on each of the 4 Intervals !

Easy to install and works great!
We recently moved into a new place and the ceiling fan in the bedroom was controlled with an on off switch on the wall and a pull chain for speed. This made things much more convenient, it was very easy to install, and gives us more speed options than the pull chain did.

Works but its numbered backwards?
It works ok but found it odd that the speed marked as 4 is actually the lowest speed, and speed 1 is the highest speed. So odd...suspect it was maybe assembled backwards or something.

Nice little addition
Much better than having to pull the chain when speed adjustment is needed

Nice product for the money
A nice, inexpensive fan control. Easy to install, comes with the yellow wire connectors and some screws. The knob is a little hard to move from position to position, but it works well and accurately. Note that "1" is high speed, "4" is low speed. We had a bunch to put in the house, and didn't want to spend a ton of money on each one. This works just fine.

Avoid & Buy Better Quality
Im a commercial pilot who spends weeks away from home. I ordered two of these switches to control fans in an aircraft hangar in Florida. Once home from an extended trip I installed them using the useless "typically-Chinese" wiring diagram and quickly found that they don't work as advertised. The switches are labeled backwards (the #4 setting is slowest and #1 is fastest), which I could live with. The problem is that these are very poorly-made, cheap-Chinese units. On the #1 setting (high), each of the fans spun at obviously different rates (which they did not do with my old switches). There did not appear to be any difference in the other 3 settings, the fans spun at the same slow speed. In addition the fans made a terrible humming noise on all three slow settings. If this had happened with just one of the switches, I might consider it a anomaly, but it happened with both of them. To make matters worse, I submitted a return request to this company and after waiting a week was told they they wouldnt honor the return because of the amount of time elapsed. Again, I am pilot who travels a lot and installed them as soon as I got home after ordering them. I think that this is a shady company selling inferior products and would suggest that you avoid them at all cost. As they say, buyer beware !

Buena calidad y funcionamiento adecuado

The control works exactly as described—four speed settings, all good. I put it on my exhaust fan thinking I’d actually use the different levels. Reality check: I only ever flip it straight to high and forget the rest. So I basically bought a four-speed switch just to use it like an on/off. Nothing wrong with the product at all—just more features than I’ll ever use. Five stars for doing its job perfectly, zero stars for my overthinking.

Pretty simple... ground for safety, and then two black switch wires. Set your fan on its highest speed, then slide it on. A basic light switch circuit just like in the grade one diagrams, but with a ground wire to give the latest birds nest of wire you call an invention-improvement a common sense safety hug.

Funciona muy bien

Pretty simple fan switch. For 20 bucks and an adjustable motor rated switch that fits in a wall box you can't go wrong. Lots of people using light switches for fans and that's a bad idea. I used to have a Lutron Maestro fan control in my old place, and that's great, but they're expensive and hard to find as just a fan control without lights. This fits the bill...
