I plugged a USB-C headset (Nubwo HW02, also purchased from Amazon) into this adapter and plugged this adapter into my iPhone 12 Mini. I started by trying to listen to music using Spotify. It repeatedly worked for a fraction of a second then stopped, as if I had hit a "stop" button. I checked the controls of my headset to make sure that it was not set to "stop," and it this was not the problem. I also tried making a phone call, but that did not work as it did not pass audio in either direction. Interestingly, if I am already playing audio and plug this adapter (connected to the headset) into my phone, nothing happens. My phone apparently doesn't even recognize that anything has been connected. I tried connecting everything in various sequences but nothing worked. I looked at their website, to see if I missed anything (their URL is in their packaging) but it looked like it was still in the earliest stages of development and there was no helpful customer support information. The only way to get customer support that I could see was to send them an email, which I wouldn't do because everything seemed like such a hack, I'd be afraid that I'd get spammed to death if I gave them my email address. I would have reached out via Amazon's messaging system, but everything I've seen so far tells me that it would be a waste of time, so I'm returning this adapter to Amazon for a refund, even though it was one of the only female USB-C to male Lightning adapters available that claimed to support data transfer, including headsets.

DJI Mic owners who have been frustrated with an inability to capture stereo into their iPhone, using the Lightning adapter that DJI includes in the kit, can use this MeloAudio adapter to finally achieve their goal. Process is simple: connect the DJI USB-C adapter to the DJI Mic receiver. Then plug this into the MeloAudio's female USB-C port, then connect the MeloAudio adapter into the iPhone using the male Lightning connection. Finally, set the DJI Mic receiver to "Stereo" and you get separate recording for left and right channels. Wonderful. Another option is the meenova adapter (see photo) for a slimmer option.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this adapter so I could connect my wireless headphones to my iPhone to listen to music and things like that. It does work but the adapter is very loose. It has to be positioned just right for it to work and the slightest bump will disconnect it. I’m very dissatisfied because this was the only adapter I could find that said it can be used for headphones/music.

Took time to decifer this adapter could be used for USB-C earbuds audio. Good price and value. I found out after receiving the adapter, that it was the HTC earbuds w/USB-C that could not be adapted as lightning compatible 😦

Very quick shipping and their description of this product is accurate. I am using with Apple AirPods that have a USB-C connector to an iPhone 11 Pro Max with iOS 16.1.2 that has a lightning connector and this amazing dongle works fine.

Edit: note, what I say below is probably going to be true for you but *might* not be. I've done more investigating, and the ability for adapters and cables to transmit data from iPhones to other devices is extremely frustrating to pin down. It may be worth a shot for you to try this adapter out on your iPhone. If you do, please share your results so folks can learn which devices work and which don't.It may have "audio" in its name, but it does not transmit audio from the lightning adapter to headphones. At least not with an old iPhone SE or a relatively new iPhone 11. I figured it might not work, but it was worth a try. I suppose it was, given Amazon's return policies. Still, a word of warning: don't buy it for audio. It might work for charging, but, in that case, you should buy something smaller and prettier.

Works great. I have a USB to VCA Headphone port as well just incase I lose my Apple cord headphones. But who uses chords nowadays.... you never know when your gonna need it...lol.

Arrived defective. Contacted seller and received a replacement a couple days later. Works for charging and listening to music. I use it with my wireless usb c headset dongle. Works well

Jag hoppades att kunna koppla in extern mus och tangenbord via en dongel, men det verkar inte funka. Hittills har jag inte fått igång någon pryl jag kopplat in. Har inte testat med hörlurar.

Hatte schon verschiedene Adapter ausprobiert. immer ohne Erfolg weil sie nicht wirklich OTG tauglich waren. Bei diesem hier handelt es sich aber wirklich um einen universal OTG Adapter. Selbst meinen Wireless-Dongle vom Razer Baraccuda X hat er erkannt und ich konnte Wireless Musik hören. Super!Wird bei längerer Benutzung wärmer wie ein normales Ladegerät auch.Würde ich immer wieder kaufen.5 Sterne da ich nix zu meckern habe. Top Produkt.
