I bought this as an answer to the power outage conundrum. When all else fails, use the land line. Of course, I’d still have to look up contacts on my cell phone to make the calls, but one thing at a time.As we now receive 100% telecallers on our landline, I am so happy with the off-switch for the ringer. Not a huge deal, but all of my other phones required a long setup to do this, and if the phone gets unplugged or there is a power outage, it resets itself at default ringer-on, and I have to start over again. Usually after being woken up by a telecaller.My only problem is that the light feature doesn’t work. When a call comes in (ringer on or off), the light should flash, and doesn’t. It’s not a deal-breaker, but I may consider asking the seller for an exchange for this reason.

We needed a cheap phone and, so far, this one works.We don't have a traditional landline in our house, we use Ooma voice over internet that plugs into our WiFi router. We were using an old AT&T phone, but the sound was filled with static and suddenly the buttons stopped working. This phone turned out to be the perfect replacement. The sound is loud and clear.My only complaint is that the main cord that comes with the phone was truly impossible to connect to the bottom of the phone. I used my existing cord from the old phone and that one popped in fine.So far, no major complaints. It's cheap, but it works.

Product Functions and appears to be free from defect. I don't know what the light on the top would do -- nothing, I suspect. The keys do glue a faint LED green, when stepped off the cradle, so, there's that.However, it is also incredibly bulky ("puffy?") for such a simple, lightweight thing. No heft to it at all. I'm tempted to crack it open and add weights. It also has a very weak clip for holding the phone in its cradle when mounted upright, on the wall.I couldn't get it to seat properly/consistently, without slamming it on to that "hook." I remedied the situation by practicing yelling "I SAID 'GOOD DAY' SIR" and I slammed it in place, and that made it much more satisfying.This thing will become a nuisance in a few short weeks, I suppose. But it will function until I find a better phone that doesn't aggravate me or my guests. It will cost too much to return it (vs the cost of the thing itself), so it will probably wind up as a spare.

First understand that this phone is inexpensive - it cost me about half of the next phone of its type (though at the time there was one somewhat less than this one but not in red) - Bought for my mom who needed a bigger handset to hold the phone. The phone works - not a loud ringer (has three settings, wish it were louder) but a light does flash with the ring. It is light and does not feel substantial which can be good or bad depending on your own preferences. I rated it a five because of price and the fact that it works as promised. If you need a trimstyle phone for not much money that works, this could be it.

The phone works fine, but the ringer does not work. And yes, I moved the ringer switch to different positions.

I thought the phone its self was nice but i had a hard time plugging in the Telephone jack that goes into the wall into the Telephone Jack hook-up in the bottom of the Phone.The way the Telephone plug in connection is in the bottom of the telephone makes it extremely difficult to plug in the Telephone Jack wire into the telephone.For this reason i would recommend not buying this Telephone.

The media could not be loaded.  made in china garbage the cord is attached to the bottom very hard to put in and narrow path way for the cord is much to narrow dont buy things made in china but if you have to im not gonna hold you back just my suggestion but i think everything on amazon is made in china but yeah some things are made in USA but they are hard to findand you get what you paid for to. 12 dollar phone very cheap

The telephone arrived before the scheduled date and was very easy to install. It is rare today when an item comes before the scheduled date. What is a WOW! I had been without a phone for 2 weeks so it was great to be back in touch. I don't due facebook, texting and all the other forms of media, so I really needed my phone to keep in touch with friends and family. Thank you!
