Stauffer's Member's Mark Animal Crackers, Original, 5 Pound

As good as they should be !!

Is there anything better than Animal crackers? I've been eating these little critters since I was a child. I'm 66 years of age now and still eating them. I was pretty much addicted to the little box brand until I was forced to look at other brands when my usual brand got to be too expensive. I switched to store brands only to be disappointed time and time. I'm not fortunate to live in an area where Stauffers are carried in the local grocery shops. Lucky for me while glancing through the cookie section on Amazon I came across these and immediately ordered them. Just received the delivery and while going through the rest of the order started munching on the little bite size crackers, cookies, and had to force myself to stop. When I saw the container I had to laugh. The content size is listed but in no way will the description prepare you for the size of the jug they come in. Be ready to find a storage area. The jug is enormous and my standard kitchen cabinets are going to have to be rearranged to find a home for it. Not complaining mind you. The crackers,cookies, are crisp and have a great flavor without being too sweet. Now I'm able to enjoy my childhood memories while crunching on the little critters while having a cold glass of milk. Plan on ordering a jug for my daughter, granddaughter and my twin brothers do his wife.ENJOY EVERYONE

My husband takes a small bowl of these when he takes the dogs to bed at night and they jump up on the bed and want to share them. They make a great late night snack for both of them.

I ordered Stauffer's Original Animal Crackers with the red label and lid, just like what is pictured. I was sent these inferior crackers in a container with a blue label and lid. The lid even has a note stuck to the top of the lid that says "New owner of the brand. Same product, new image." Not even close to the quality of Stauffer's animal crackers. If you are looking for Stauffer's, keep looking because what you get when you order this product is not Stauffer's quality.

I like the flavor and freshness. The downsize is most weee broken into smaller pieces. As an adult, I am ok with that. Kids might not want the small broken pieces.

There are 6 of us here and we all like these animal crackers.

I took a chance on a store brand, based on other reviews. They arrived today and I dug right in (how can you not with animal crackers). They are so crispy and fresh! Perfect flavor, just a touch of sweetness. I am delighted.

I bought this item and enjoyed it for a bit, but it was just too much for me. I gave away quite a bit of it, but I still have more left. Too big for an individual but might be just right for a family.
