Metal Earth Batman Superman Batmobile 3D Metal Model Kit Fascinations

I had a hell of a time getting the top to connect to the bottom, but when I finally got it together, it looked fantastic. This is definitely a more advanced model, I would strongly recommend trying almost ANY other model first, I would not suggest this for beginners.It would also be entirely helpful to have a full tweezer kit, wire cutters, needle nose pliers, step mandrels for rounding purposes, and some serious patience. As all models go, they are fragile, you have to be gentle, and they are not meant to be played with afterwards, just displayed.It's a funstrating (frustrating/fun) challenge that pays off in the end with a pretty cool looking model.

My friend loved this as a gift, but broke it due to excitement.

I've done many of these Metal Earth models and consider myself pretty competent at building them. (I recently completed Iron Man, one of the most challenging ones, with few issues). I was a bit disappointed with the design on this one, particularly the way the wheels attach. It looks OK when completed, but it has more loose connections than I would like. It's very fragile once complete, in contrast to most of the other Metal Earth models I've done, which I have no issue with people carefully picking up to examine more closely.As a Batman fan who loves these models, I instantly bought this, but I would not recommend it to beginners, and I think there are many better Metal Earth models out there to try first.

Model came out well. I purchased it (along with the Bat-Signal model) to give as a gift to my brother for Christmas. He loved them. I will say, the wheels don't mount very sturdily to the rest of the model. They aren't in any danger of falling off, but they do wiggle around quite a bit. But as long as the model is simply being displayed, and not being played with like toy, it should be fine. But if there is room for improvement, it would be where the wheels mount to the rest of the model. Otherwise, it was a fun build, and a good product. I especially enjoyed the sections that required bending curves into the metal, as these metal models rarely use curves and are usually made up of straight edges and sharp corners. Gave it more a flow and added some challenge.

The one star reviews are from people without the proper patience and experience and are not a true representation of this model. If you are not patient and willing to devote several hours (yes several hours) to assembling this kit, then this is not for you. However, if you have built a few of these and have the proper tools and patience, then this is a great kit to add to your collection. The level of difficulty is indeed high, but once again, patience is the key. If you have experience and patience this kit builds into a beautiful and detailed model.

I love these 3D Metal Earth puzzles. You must have patience and take your time. Some of the models are easier than others. I recommend using a jewelry tool kit as they are smaller and fit into all the teeny tiny spaces.
