MAGMA Products Cockpit Umbrella

I work as a marine technician, boat mechanic, fixing yachts and sail boats. Life saver during the summer. And I made a mount for my stand up paddle board cooler, and use it for my 9 year olds street side art and jewelry selling table, be creative and it shade anywhere you want, very light weight but very durable using the awesome four corner tie downs and the easy straps that come with it.

I liked the flexibility of the umbrella support. I did expect it to be a bit larger to cover a bit more area, this is about the size of a big golf umbrella. That said, it's ok as long as you support it well with the straps and pole and don't move too fast.

This is my second purchase, Lost first on trip to Al, wind took it off the deck (Not in its mount-my mistake) and Sank before my eyes! But they are Great Quality and Clever Design. They let wind pass without turning the umbrella inside out. But the rain stays OUT. Great for areas with little to no shade, you can easly bring it with you. Easy to stow and take very little room. I keep them in a 16 foot Tracker style bass boat with limited space. So Nice I bought two this past purchase. Enjoy !

NO WHERE DID IT SAY OR SHOW THAT I WAS GOING TO THE MARKETING FOR MAGMA, This was for a specific event. the quality feels and looks very cheap and flimsy. for the money not what I was expecting. And then in big bold letters "MAGMA"???? REALLY

High quality umbrellas. Very impressed with the heavy duty mounting system. We bought two and are always in the shade now wherever we sit in the boat. I guess I shouldn't be surprised by the quality from Magma. We have owned one of their BBQs for the past 15 years. Our original boat sank and was on the bottom of the lake for ten days with the BBQ in it. Still using it and never had to replace any of the parts.

It's a great product but we are not able to use it on front of our pontoon boat. It only fits a small ROUND Rail. Guess that's my fault for not reading the description throughly. We propped it up behind seat to use it for 30 minutes while parked at side of river. It worked great for a shade and is beautiful. Wish I had a "prettier" picture, but we were on side of a river. 🤷‍♀️

We only used this as a sun shade 2-or-3 times, 2-of the fiberglass ribs snapped off at the connection points. These broke just opening or closing, no wind or miss use. Very poor quality ribs. Would not buy again.

I hoped that I could use it to cover the cockpit of my bow rider. The only way to connect it is on a rail. I wanted to place it in the middle of the deck. The support pole is very short and small. Couldn't make it work.

great product yet to full test only one on the market of its size and design

The parasol part was fine but the attaching bracket is over complicated, too rigid and difficult to use. It was used on a boat.

Buy a golf umbrella for a quarter of the price. Nice look and size but very lightweight. Unimpressed.
