Excellent arch support.
My husband wears these in his work boots and personal shoes. His foot pain is no longer and his legs don’t fatigue like they used to. They fit very well in the shoe and the arch is just right. Very well worth the money.

Very good orthotic at a reasonable price
Very good orthotic. More comfortable than $400 podiatrist carbon fiber one but perhaps not as durable. We shall see. I bought 2 since they were 1/5 the price as the podiatrist. These are usually available by prescription but Amazon sells them to anybody.

Very good for fallen arches and out of control feet
High arches that have fallen, I supinate and pronate, my foot literally twists as I walk. My podiatrist prescribed the 3/4 version of these inserts. I like the full inserts much better, they're actually more versatile and more comfortable. I find it difficult to fit most shoes with the 3/4 insert and it still raises my heel too much, putting too much strain on my arch and the ball of my foot. Much better results simply replacing the insole with these full length inserts. The hard plastic arch takes some getting used to, especially for people accustomed to very soft soles, but I promise that once you are used to them, your feet, as well as the rest of your body, will be happier.Keep in mind that the shoe and sizing matters too. Despite current trends towards very soft shoes, wide, stable, thick, rubber soles that don't have too much flex, are your best bet. You want plenty of wiggle room for your toes and the arch supports must hit in the right spot. I wore shoes that were too small for years without realizing it ...And don't forget to help your feet with proper stretching and strengthening exercises. These insoles are 95% perfect for me. What would make them perfect? A tiny bit more cushion.

Among The Best Insoles Out There And Are Podiatrist Recommended
The Powerstep Protech was recommended to me by my Podiatrist and I concur with her that these fall into the elite category of insoles out there and I have tried so many as I have had a few foot problems over the years. These excel at stability with very firm arch support and flawless metatarsal support as well. With all this stiffness, they still are extremely comfortable so you get that great combination. The only downside for me, however, is that they have very limited cushioning. If you are using these in nice cushioning sneakers, this is not necessarily a negative as the sneaker does the cushioning. I like extra cushioning for long walks and hikes even with good cushioning sneakers so for that I use New Balance Motion Control insoles which are not quite as firm as Powersteps but cushion about a million times better on the heel and a billion times better on the forefoot. NB Motion Controls are a little thicker so especially for high instep people may not work in every shoe. Low volume feet people will have no problem with Motion Controls. If you want to put Powersteps in stiff hiking boots, realize how little cushioning there will be but if you are carrying weight, then maybe you want the maximum support that these provide. Also, for people who stand for long periods, Powersteps should absolutely be tried for their superior support and comfort. Can also be considered for bicycling if they fit in a close fitting shoe like that. For ultra thin insoles that work great in bicycling shoes, skates, dress/casual shoes, football cleats, ski boots, etc., consider the Pedag Viva (leather) or the Pedag Viva Winter (wool). Pedag are German designed and the #1 selling insoles in Germany so do you think they aren't good? The Superfeet ultra thin model is also worth considering as well as the Specialized innersoles sold in bicycle shops. Specialized has models for a variety of arch conditions and the shops are trained to fit you to the model you need so don't be concerned if you are not bicyclist as these are superior insoles for any sport or application for thin insoles.

These were requested for me to buy from a Poditirest I have plantar. These worked very well for long hours of walking and standing. The best remedy is the stretches foot and calf.

Good product and suggested by podiatrist
I’ve used these for years at the suggestion of my podiatrist. Sometimes I wonder if they are worth the price, but I don’t want to go without them.

Saved my flat feet from pain
Pros: Love these, I have flat feet and these have saved my feet. I can walk forever, dance, and I use these in every shoe I can fit them in.Cons: they don’t fit in every shoe, I size up a half size to get these into shoes, but sometimes the shoe is too slender. They are expensive, and because I use them all the time, the “arch” in this product flattens over time and feet start to hurt. I have to replace these often, cost adds up.Overall: even with the cost, worth it, save my feet.
